Alhambra Dentist - The Perfect Smile

Dr. Ed helped me with my Invisalign and Jolene, the hygienist helped me clean my teeth. They are both very professional. Actually everyone who works there is very nice. I've done with my Invisalign in less than 2 years. And I highly recommend this place for you!

Both the doctors and staffs are very friendly and welcoming. They took time to make sure my invisalign's treatment is well completed rather than just rushing through the procedure. I felt I was taken care of.

I came to the Perfect Smile for Invisalign and had a very good experience. It was reasonably priced compared to other places I visited and Dr. Ed got me in and out in a timely manner for every Invisalign appointment. I've also come to this office for teeth cleanings and will continue to do so after completing Invisalign.

I've been with Perfect Smile for a few years now, and it is definitely my favorite dental practice ever. I liked it a lot better when it was an undiscovered gem in a little hole in the wall in Alahambra. Now it seems that everyone is catching on to the great service offered. Mimi has been my dental hygienist almost since I began. My original hygienist was great but no longer works there. Mimi is an excellent and knowledgable cleaner. She has improved my teeth several times with her suggestions. Her manner is personable, and she remembers family details. Coming in to get a cleaning is like seeing an old friend. I don't think I've ever looked forward to cleanings before. I began with Dr. Stan, but recently I've seen Dr. Justin. Dr. Justin is very enthusiastic and warm. He always seems genuinely glad to see you. I highly recommend this dentistry service.

I held myself back for a while from writing this review since I still do need to keep going here for the remainder of my Invisalign but has reached my limit as of today.

First of all, there are pros to this place.
1. Minimal wait times- front staff are very efficient and organized although tend to make billing errors at times such as continuing to charge Invisalign payments even after the set number of payments have been paid, overcharging copay. But they were pretty promptly corrected once I brought them up, just keep a close eye on your insurance claims and payments
2. Hygienists are very thorough and competent, making sure to get every corner and stain off your teeth

Now, the Invisalign.
Dr. Stan is a nice guy but he is not an orthodontist. I initially went with him vs another ortho because he didn't propose to shave off so much of my teeth for Invisalign, which sounded better to me. I also had pretty nice teeth aesthetically, with some moderate crowding on the bottom (i.e. most people assumed I had braces due to my pretty straight top teeth). He suggested a 9-month Invisalign course. Well after 1 year and 5 months, I'm not only still on Invisalign but also on full-blown rubber bands and having to eat WITH trays in to prevent further trauma to my anterior tooth (which is btw wobbly), which just makes me not want to eat for the most of my day at work in front of other people. Also, my teeth have gotten shaved so much in the end anyway to correct the bite problem that's causing the wobbly tooth. I am honestly so very scared for my bite and the wobbly/sore tooth that it will always stay like this and that I won't ever be able to eat things like beef jerky. I am already researching periodontists in case there is severe bone loss in that tooth at the end of all this. What did I sign up for after paying $5k??! Also it turns out, from today's visit, I was told to wear the rubber bands in an incorrect arrangement for the past 10 weeks by the tech. Dr. Stan tried to reassure me that there was no harm done from it, but I don't know what to believe anymore. I feel like he relies on the techs too heavily and does not double check their work at the end or what they're teaching the patients (and off I go for months on end with wrong info). Often feels like he is in a rush to see other patients in the queue. And I just remembered, I'm pretty sure they forgot to take an xray today along with my cleaning (I definitely forgot on my end because I was so flustered after finding out about the whole wrong rubberband situation). Too many cooks in the kitchen and not enough oversight IMHO.

TLDR: Good for general dental needs. Invisalign a nightmare personally.

Last year, I decided to get Invisalign treatment with Dr. Justin. From the initial consultation, I was informed that it would take approximately 1.5 to 2 years, but I just finished with my treatment after 11 months. Overall I am happy with the results.

I just moved to this area and new of everything. And I was surfing in web to see which dentistry had a better reviews. The perfect smile pop on my screen and I call make a appointment. I was not a dentist friendly. I hate needle so kind of scared to be honest. But I been going there for all my dental issues. And now I am close to have my tooth implants. So with the cares and professionalism of the staffs and doctors? Makes my confidence back to do all my dental major issues. Two thumbs up with this company in fact my wife. She will starts going to do her dental cleaning soon.

Great service. The dentists works with you for Invisalign. Super professional. Always punctual with appointments. Parking is a bit hard tho, so park in the streets.
