Quite awful. They offer unnecessary treatments and overcharge. I initially went in for a brace consultation, but I had to do a check up with their dentist first because that was their requirement. Although Dr. Olga seemed honest and through, I ended up with an estimation of $8000 of treatments, even though I had no apparent cavities or unstable teeth. Then they booked me for a periodontist, who also gave me an estimate of additional $4000 for gum grafting. It was clear that they don't even have an on-site orthodontist. Since then I went around and sought other opinions, and no other dentists claimed I need those treatments. A few months after that experience, I called Cal Dental again to book a teeth whitening treatment, because the other dentistry I had been going to was fully booked until the next month. And when I mentioned I had been going to other dentistry, the supervisor named Alec got very upset and started cornering and scolding me. Very unprofessional. So, unless you are little submissive and likes to get yelled at and ripped off, avoid this place.

Let me start by saying that I have had a fear of dentists for the last 5 years and I just didn't go for previous bad experiences. This time around my family urged me to go to the dentist and have a look and recommended me to Cal Dental Group.
On my first visit, I sat there in the waiting room so nervous until the staff greeted me and offered me some water. They chatted with me to keep me calm and steadily checked on me. When I spoke with the dentist, he was very cool and explained every step of my procedure very calmly (I was asking lots of questions, because I do have ins and pay out of pocket). They are very professional and are perfectionists at their craft. I've been going there now for 5 months now and I can actually say they make me feel like I'm a part of their family.

I met with Olga and Alec for consultation and they were kind, empathetic and also understood my financial circumstances due to the ongoing pandemic and being uninsured. The staff was all so friendly. I had 4 impacted wisdom and I was prescribed antibiotic and painkillers. They scheduled my surgery and Alec really worked with me to make sure I can fit this into my budget so I can get the care I needed. Amazing service.

A great Dentistry office with great staff. After moving to the area a couple months ago I was in pain from my wisdom teeth. I received an overpriced quote from a different office and was then referred by a friend to go to Cal Dental Group for all of my dentist/oral surgeon needs. They were able to get me in within the week and offered a much more reasonable pricing for wisdom teeth removal and scheduled an appointment.
All of the staff has great bedside manner, and will work with you if you’re on a budget. I greatly appreciate this office for helping me in a time of need and am glad a friend recommended me here. I am happy to say I’ve found my new dentist in LA!

Dr. Kim is best dentist I’ve ever had. Very profesional and with an amazing sense of humor.
The staff there are also exceptional. They truly care about you and your teeth. My favorite staff member is Liz, she will always greet you with a smile.
All my appointments have been right on time and I’m in and out without any delays.
They have plenty of parking which is so o important, especially in LA.
I also bring my daughter here and she too loves the doctor and everything else as mentioned above.
