Aurora Dentist Office and Orthodontics

Had my first visit a few weeks ago and really appreciated the attention I was given. The dentist was super personable and talked to me throughout my appointment and explained everything that she was doing!

I’ve been going to Aurora Dental for the past few months now and have had a great experience with Dr. Tesar and all of the dental assistants (shout out to Koya for being amazing). I needed a good bit of work done from pushing off the dentist for too long and Dr Tesar was willing to work with my schedule and how much I can afford, as well as make sure I’m not in any pain throughout our appointments. Highly recommend this office and the staff!

Excellent customer service from all the staff and great care and honest assessment from the medical team that have worked extensive dental procedures on my cousins’ long suffering teeth, gums and bones.

She will definitely see Dr. Aziz and his team periodically in order to treat her long existing teeth, gums and bones conditions, in addition to the Periodontist and Endodentist he referred her to 6 to 8 weeks from now.

We are very satisfied with the extensive medical service provided by Dr. Aziz and his assistant Angelina and also very thankful and satisfied with the information regarding insurance coverage and copayment provided by Britney.

This dentist office provide nothing but the most relaxing experience from beginning to end, would recommend to my friends and family! The manager was very helpful in any questions that I had in regards to my insurance coverage!

I never met a Dentist who truly cares for their patients and makes them feel at ease until I met Dr. Tesar. She makes you feel completely at ease and comfortable. She takes great ownership and pride in making sure she educates you on everything and makes sure you understand what she is talking about. I have personally had some not so great dentist visits in the past which has led me to avoid the dentist for years and years. After my visit with Dr. Tesar, I can honestly say I will continue my care with her as she made me feel comfortable.

I had gone to the same awesome, meticulous dentist for 15 years between 2000 to 2015 and he retired. I have been going to Dr. Shelby Tasar since she opened approximately July, 2020, it took 5 years to find her! She truly measures up to my previous awesome, meticulous Dentist. I have a couple of “pereo-proned” teeth I feel it when my teeth aren’t properly cared for. I do my best but need a pro! I can tell when a Dentist gives you their best! Dr. Shelby has always given me the best care! She will be my Dentist as long as her office is open! Yesterday her parents came by her office it was great seeing her interact with them you can tell how proud they are of her and what a loving daughter she is to them!
Dr. Shelby treats me like a real person, she has a way of talking to you like you’re a friend rather than a patient, it is very comforting. Like that isn’t enough she is also very skilled at recognizing what you need, she has my teeth down to a science and I’m truly blessed to know her! Keep up the great work!! Big shout out to Looloo, her assistant, she makes me feel comfortable, has a great sense of humor and is a nice addition to Dr. Shelby Tesar’s staff! Amanda and Dr. Aziz are fantastic!! They are skilled and friendly. They fixed a crown I just got 6 months ago that didn’t seal properly and they do same-day crowns! Would definitely come again!

Let’s just say this place in unique in more ways than one!! I’m more than satisfied with my appointment. Ive noticed a major difference in my teeth. My gums are now healthy and I don’t worry about brushing my teeth any more.
I’ve been searching for a dentist since I moved out here., and I’m glade I waited! The crew there is amazing and I loved how Involved they were with all of there patients. They made sure everyone was taken care of while also performing at the highest level in this amazing field!!

Was here yesterday for the third time after having issues with wisdom extraction as well as issues with a crown that I am paying 1200 dollars for. After my session with Dr Tesar, which was decent. Justin, I believe his name is- tried to get me to pay out of pocket for my appointment. That immediately upset me as I have good insurance for a reason. After I was clearly upset he then offered to bill my insurance. Don't you think you should give the patient that option up front? Don't wait for them to be upset. Unbelievable. I left with a very sour feeling towards them. Which does suck because there dentist and docs are very decent.

UPDATE: went to get my bottom wisdom teeth pulled today. I was somewhat annoyed with the experience. I was basically rushed into the chair by the doctor, sedated quickly and after it was over I didn't speak or see him again. I had tons of questions about afterwards and the steps I needed to take to get better. Not one person talked to me afterwards informing me what do with guaze, eating, pain, nothing. I had to call them 4 times in the evening with those questions.

Had a great experience with Dr Tesar, she answered all of my questions in detail, friendly, kind, and honest. I left my last dentistry due to multiple issues I endured. Found this office. Staying at this office. Enough said :)

We all know how expensive it can be to go to the dentist even with dental insurance. However, Dr. Tesar's office cost are made very transparent and patients choose the procedures that work best for their budgets. Procedures can be spaced out for tight budgets as well.
Dr. Tesar took a leap of faith in beginning her practice during COVID-19. I highly recommend her.
The practice has grown with oral health specialists that can keep you healthy. A healthy mouth contributes to a healthy life.
