Let me start by saying I have never had a good experience at a dental office before. I am normally petrified of the dentist, but I had such a great experience here! Dr. Dave was SO friendly, and really made me feel at ease. He did some fillings and extractions for me, and I can't believe how painless it was! I barely felt the shot, and I didn't even realize my two wisdom teeth were out until he told me!
The front office and the assistants were always so friendly to me. The girls in the front office were kind enough to sit down with me and go over the prices for everything so I knew what I was paying for.
I will be recommending all my friends and family.
Thank you Comfort Dental! You rock!!!

Dave is a fantastical dentist, great professional and over all, a good person. Delays in other bad reviews may be due to prioritizing professionalism over quick service to make more money. Be patient with these guys, it's worth it.
Maria has a great hand and is an awesome person to have a conversation with. (Of course, not while she fixes your teeth.)
I am extremely happy with them and will recommend anyone to don't even doubt going to the best dentist in Avon and the surrounding area.

not only did they squeeze me in on a busy day but they made time to do a root canal to relieve me of severe pain. they managed their time so well that I didn't have to wait long at all. thank you all so much.

My Filipino friends introduce me to Comfort Dental in Avon and it was worth it. Service is excellence and staff are very accommodating. Dr.David Lindman did a great job for making me comfy through out the surgery. Thank you so much and more power!

Dr. Lindman is one of the best dentists I have ever been too. He really cares about the community and the people he treats. He gives comprehensive care and uses compassion through his processes. I have always been a complicated patient but we work together to figure out ways to make things better and he really understands more about fibromyalgia and slow healing then most people do. He is always kind and always ready to help . I highly recommend him if you have had complicated issues with other dentists. Take time and really listen and be patient with him and dont be afraid to ask questions he's always making suggestions and happy to answer my questions.

Well, the doctor and his staff seemed friendly enough, and the place was relatively neat, but the experience was quite strange. I am 56, and have exactly that much experience with dentistry (50+ years), but none quite like this... It just lacked a kind of precision, and careful application of technique, which is very important in this work.
I originally went in for a simple filling repair, which would include an initial check up including x-rays ($20)... I guess the word that comes to mind most for the whole treatment is brusque - abrupt, blunt, short, terse, peremptory, as well as a bit careless, incomplete, and lacking finesse or even fine skill.
What they called a full check up included only one bite wing (taken three times) at the location of the filling repair. The doctor's portion of the check up lasted about 15 seconds and seemed to only include the area of interest...
A treatment plan was made and the work was undertaken in short order. Ok, I am all for efficiency... But the preparatory drilling was short, (another 30 seconds) abrupt, and inexact or imprecise... and then he was gone to another patient. I asked for a mirror and saw that he had cleaned up the area, but had not maintained the exact shape of the tooth... (maybe this would happen in the re-filling or so I thought).
An assistant did the actual filling of the tooth with a quickness of technique that made me imagine that an automated system could do this kind of repair. Then came the shaping, and smoothing part, which included more brusqueness, inexactness, and an almost hurried pace... all done by the assistant (EDA - expanded dental assistant who can do a few extra things like fillings and such, but cannot drill on the actual tooth), and not the actual dentist.
The feel of my bite was way off at first, and additional rushed drilling ensued with more material removal than I had ever experienced in a session, including some tooth enamel (I know what drilled tooth tastes and smells like). The feel of the bite finally came back into correctness, and I can't say that it is totally off, but the original shape of the tooth is definitely altered, and it looks and feels different than my other molars.
Since this is the farthest back molar, it will probably be (barely) acceptable for now, but I would NEVER have them work on any other teeth that needed to fit together correctly or be cosmetic in any way.
The Doctor came back in for another minute of pleasantries, a minor drill touch up, and a semblance of approval and completion.
The price was agreeable, but the actual dental work left a weird feeling that I had just been in some strange altered dental reality with unfamiliar people doing less skilled and rushed work on the structure of my teeth.
The staff seemed well meaning, It was just off the normal acceptable mark... by three or four stars. I will pick my dental offices more carefully next time.

Really satisfied with the service they provide. And if they take their time, it’s because they consider every case individually and carefully. To be honest, I was worried because I’m a foreigner and I had a dental emergency and I really didn’t know what to do. But they calmed me down and made me feel completely understood and comfortable the whole time. I really appreciate what they did for me and I’m so grateful to Dave and Maria. Both of them good professionals and caring people.

Got an appointment here to get a quick cleaning. Arrived on time but took 25 min to get me back in the chair. After the exam I sat in the chair for another 20 min with no one paying any attention to me and dentist was on his phone standing in the hallway. I got up to get a drink of water and the staff was laughing and playing with snow globe in the office. Appointment was at 4 and by 5 oclock no cleaning had been done and they had not told me what they were planing on doing.finally came to me with a quote and it was Over 700 dollars. This place wants to take you for your money not for your business. I refused the quote asking to start with a standard cleaning, they wouldn’t work with me so I ended up walking out paying for X-rays . Then the office staff asked when my next appointment would be and I told them I’m never booking an appointment here again! Huge waist of time. the office is gross with wires hanging through the drywall and a feeling of a unfinished doctors office , unprofessional staff and the dentist wants to take you for all your worth. I have been to a lot of dentist, and this office was by far the worst!!!

If I could give this place zero or minus stars, I would. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. You don't leave this place feeling cared for and they are not professional. Sure, the prices are slightly cheaper, but it doesn't remotely make up for it because of the terrible service, confused staff and lack of concern for the client. I've been in twice- both times they had me wait 45 minutes in the waiting room and at least 15 minutes in the chair when they let me in. What's the point of even making an appointment? The dentist convinced me I needed a crown and i told him I was going out of town for 5 weeks. He said no prob, and convinced me to get it (bad idea) and sent me off with a temporary crown that was super uncomfortable for those 5 weeks (I could go on a on). When I finally got back and got the permanent crown I had pain and sensitivity EVERY TIME I had cold/warm liquids for 4 months! It even hurt to put a water pick back there! And I didn't go back to get help for my pain because i had no faith they could help. Then, today I decided to go in for my last visit, and waited over an hour to get in and the dental hygienist cleaned my teeth for about 10 minutes and the dentist came in and looked at my teeth briefly and said "oh they look clean" and didn't scrape the plaque off the teeth like they normally do. I felt so "washed over" and un-important. To kill time because they were so behind schedule, they made me pay ahead of time, which was weird (I'm used to paying for a service after it happens), and then proceeded to tell me after the superficial cleaning that I owed them more money. I really didn't want to pay them more because I was so unhappy. I'm never going back. I don't care about save $20 bucks here and there--- they are hands down unprofessional! The dentist there is flirtatious and inappropriate and puts on an act like they're doing great work. It takes a lot of bad service to get me angry and I left fuming. Don't go! You don't save money in the long run and I'm scared to think what could happen to my teeth if I kept going here. Scary.

Every time I’ve come for an appointment they have me sitting in the waiting room for an hour+ to be seen. Poor customer service and seems poorly managed.
