Having the same dentist basically all my life and having to switch was terrifying. The dentist I came from, we were family and didn't realize that wasn't a normal thing. Having used a couple places in the Valley and not pleased, today I went to Dr. Davis and WOW. The communication between the staff is professional and precise. Best experience I have ever had in a dental office. I was new to the Grand Valley and found myself with a severe toothache. Fortunately for me, someone recommended Dr. Davis. I was amazed and grateful when he fit me (a new patient) into his schedule on the same day that I called. His receptionist explained, "Dr. Davis doesn't like for anyone to be in pain." He was very caring and gentle during his exam and quickly found the problem. It was apparent that I was in need of a root canal, and when Dr. Davis realized that he did not have an opening within a day or two in his own schedule, he called a colleague and arranged for me to receive treatment that very same day. That specialist was also an excellent dentist, and by the end of the day, I was no longer in pain. I also want to be sure and compliment Dr. Davis' staff - both the receptionist and dental assistant with whom I had contact showed sincere concern for my predicament and provided top-notch service.
