Signature Smiles Dentistry

Today I went in for a consultation because I chipped my front tooth. Not only were they nice, they were efficient and their office was very clean. They fixed my chipped tooth and squeezed me in for a cleaning next week. I would highly recommend this dental office if you are looking for something better.

I am one happy patient. I continue to come to this office because not only is a staff incredibly friendly but they are also very professional and informative to detail. They're also very comforting to my concerns.

Great place with wonderful, friendly staff and a fantastic dentist! Online scheduling and forms make appointments very easy and efficient. The office has all kinds of cool imaging tools and they really take the time to show you what's happening with your teeth. I highly recommend this office

I'm not a person who takes care of their teeth, so I'm nervous going to any dentist. I had a problem come up and knew I couldn't avert them any longer. I researched dentists nearby and Signature Smiles popped up almost next door to me. I checked out their website and found they did a plethora of other services in addition to standard dentistry so I was definitely intrigued. I was interested in an implant as well as possible veneers already and had been pondering my hesitancy to go in. In a happy negative my hand was forced when I had a gum issue pop up and found myself in some pain.
I made an appointment online for the next day and was pleasantly surprised when they offered online forms to fill out and submit electronically before my visit. They didnt take long at all and I hate phones, prefering everything electronic anyways.
I showed up and didnt have to do anything but submit my insurance card and ID. Their front desk tech called out so I walked in to Dr. Gunning at the desk. It was bright and modern and had a light feel in atmosphere. He was very sweet and polite. He listened to my mild banter and was very nice.
The assistant, Sarah, was so sweet and very friendly. She wasnt overbearing and when I told her of my embarrassment in my oral health she turned it positive and treated me like an adult. She never scolded me and understood that it's just one of those things. I actually ended up thanking her for being so understanding and she said that she was here to support me and help and nothing less. It was very endearing. She was by far my mental "rock," in that whenever I got embarrassed or upset with myself during the visit I remembered what she said and I calmed myself down.
I met the Dr. again and he didnt lay into me about my issues. He seemed focused on fixing the problem and answering any questions or concerns. It never turned into, "If you do what you're supposed to we wouldn't be here." He was focused on solutions while still bringing kindness to the table.
I had a pretty deep cleaning with their hygienist, Angela, who works a few days a week at this particular location. We spoke of her goals and what she wants to do in her career and she mentioned shes in school to teach. I thought that was perfect for her because of her demeanor and knowledge. She did tell me a few times that if I flossed some of these problems wouldn't happen, but I took it as more of a, "I know where you are in your health but we can get this better so you dont have to go through this." She came off concerned rather than disciplinary. She genuinely cared about my success in improving. She had no problem answering inquiries or explaining processes. She was very intelligent, well kept, and great at her job.
Right now, I am happy to be in so much better spirits over all. Six hours later and my pain is so much better. I actually want to make them proud by taking care of my teeth like I should and show them that their care, compassion, friendliness, and kindness all helped not only my teeth, but my frame of mind.
I've had nice dentists in the past but sometimes it's not a match. This place is a match in every facet I could think of when wanting a good experience with a dentist.
In every situation if something hurt or was uncomfortable they were on top of it and checking in to make sure I wasnt in pain and not telling them. At one point they had to numb me again because the pain went farther than initially expected. (I had an infection in my gum.) She made sure I was ok and what to expect to feel. She didn't mind when I stopped to mention something while she was cleaning and had to remove her hands a few times.
If you're hesitant, scared, or just tired of stressful visits this is the place to go. They dont focus on your past and look toward your future, just as you should. I still dont like dental experiences as a whole, but this place makes it okay. No matter what ends up happening, I know they'll take care of me just like they did today. Give them a chance. You won't be disappointed. (Sorry if I messed up on names.)

Signature Smiles has such a nice clean office, advanced technology and methods, and the friendliest staff! So glad we found them, and would strongly recommend.

This is a great dentist office, they are friendly and knowledgeable. They adhere to Covid guidelines well and Andrea is super helpful with insurance stuff. My daughters and I love being patients here!

As always, going to the Dentist can be scary. Dr Gunning and his staff made me feel comfortable and took my nerves off edge. Keep up the great work!! :)

Dr. Nate Gunning is a fabulous dentist! He is very caring in his chair-side manner. He is knowledgeable and compassionate, highly recommend!
