Clean, friendly, great with navigating insurance, no sales pressure…what more could you ask for? Stay away from corporate chains and go with this family business- you won’t regret it!

I know I am the only negative review. I am sure this is because we are a small town where people still keep their mouths closed or say something nice. I am not that way. So here is my story. Stick with me till the end. Really do. Here is what happened. I got "worked in" for an emergency. One of the dental hygienist took a single film of one row of teeth. Then the hygienist looked inside my mouth. Proceeded to sit down and make a treatment plan. The dentist was nice. She looked at the tooth that hurt and said I needed to see a Periodontist. BUT only after they gave me a deep cleaning treatment. All of this would not take place today. Then I discussed price tag with the dentist. I said I could not afford that several times. At the end of the "treatment plan" was an added on $160 electric toothbrush. I said "I already had one of those"...I was then shuttled to the front where a BUSINESS MANAGER awaited me to discuss the final price tag of the treatment program. $3689. I just sighed. Was then asked for that days services $280 dollars!!!! I have reported it to the BBB and Rip-Off Report. Why? Because no one charges that much to look into your mouth and fill out a sales slip. This is the new dental scam I came to find out. I finally made it to a real dentist. Who cares about teeth. They cleaned my teeth. Took a whole mouth of xrays. And did a comprehensive exam. The price tag $280. I laughed to myself when I got to the car. Almost drove back to this place and just cussed everyone out. Do not be taken for a ride. Dentistry is not "deep cleanings" and "treatment plans" that cost thousands of dollars and are in my case totally not needed. It's a shame a dentist as nice as this one seemed to be has aligned herself with this horrible business practice. Heck the place I settled on still gave me the toothbrush, dental floss, and tube of toothpaste for free. Save your teeth, gums, and money find a real dentist not a salesman.
Addendum 10/21/15. Addendum 10/20/2015. Dr. Ullah was mortified and has apologized several times. Apparently they have made some changes. I was also told how my visit was handled was completely inappropriate and handled wrong. I have received a refund. You can take a chance and go there. While I am glad for the refund and accept the apology from her. I have found a dentist better suited for me and my standards of business practice in dental field.

Thanks for over 7 years of perfect teeth! After returning from the army I was glad to have wonderful benefits and the choice to pick where I wanted to go. I did some online research and decided I would try cumming family dentistry. I had some issues (I chose to wait till after the army to address due to the lack of confidence in the provided dentist) so I came in for consultation and was thoroughly pleased. Every issue I had was shown to me as it was being detailed via a camera displaying what the dentist could see on a screen above me. I thought this was one of the greatest things ever....like the mechanic leaving the old parts in the car....nice to see what gone done till you learn to trust them. We got some sensitivity issues, couple cavities, and some low spots from grinding sorted out and settled in for regular maintenance. I have been self employed since my return from army and my schedule has always been difficult to deal with. The office always worked with me through the years with rescheduled appointments, cancellations, no call no shows....someone who probably should have been let go as a patient for anyone trying to run and sort of schedule. Well they stuck with me and I stuck with them. At one point I mentioned something about how bad I hated my smile/teeth. High fevers cauding discoloration a child plus multiple incidents as an uncontrollable youth with dodge ball, softball, and someone's fist left me with less than a desirable smile. Dr. Anne mentioned veneers which I was already aware of and the fact that they could do them there. She told me pick a celebrity smile and she would make it happen. I said yeah one day... and set up my next appointment. A couple years later and several reminders from Dr. Anne and the last receptionist Marilyn aboit veneers we decided to try my luck with financing since I couldn't afford to come out of pocket all at once. I got denied. I was fairly let down...I had let excitement get ahold of me thinking I may actually get to get rid of this smile that I never got to show from embarrassment and self consciousness. Back to regular maintenance for me. I focused on cleaning up and building my credit (for more reasons than just this) and finally and another year or so and increase in bring home pay we tried running the care credit again. I got approved! Dr. Anne coached me through the process of deciding what I would want to do next and even helped me make sure the new veneers would be perfect by ordering a pre-install look to make sure I was totally happy with them. We scheduled the install on like a Monday or Tuesday around 8:30 and got started. I was out by lunch and with my mouth a little sore....but I was teeming with excitement for this new celebrity smile. Instantly my life was changed and now instead of trying to use my lips to keep my teeth covered all the time I couldn't help but smile ear to hear. I couldn't believe the random people that would say omg your teeth are amazing. I can't imagine what's it's like for people who have had perfect smiles their whole life...people would ooo and awe over them everywhere. I now find myself taking huge smiling pics and I can't help it...my smile is perfect! I love my teeth and I love my new smile even going on just over two years...I wish I hadn't waited and tried harder to get them. Thanks to everyone at Cumming Family Dentistry and especially Dr. Anne for making my dream come true. Anyone wants to see before and after pics can facebook me! You've made it to the right practice.

Dr. Ann Ullah, or Ann, and her staff bring smiles just by being around them. I have had two dental emergencies. The first was my first visit. I had lost a crown in the top front of my mouth. They squeezed me in within the hour.
The second time was this week, August 22, 2018. A molar cracked. I’m moving to Texas next week. She saw me at the end of the day. She arranged a rush with the lab, so that I’ll receive the permanent crown before I move.
I wish I could bring Ann and her office with me to Texas! Best dentist ever!!!

Worst dentist ever . Didn't have any problem with my teeth. Went there just for yearly cleaning . First she said , I need deep cleaning ; did deep clean with 4 different appoints. During deep cleaning she said need filling and I complied and did it . The last day on filling , she took hours (at least 2 hours) and she drilled my teeth. During procedure, she went to attend another patient !!! And she did this attending another patient couple of times. After filling , I started to have severe pain and I went to her and then she said I need root canal!!! When I asked why I need root canal , she answered my teeth got worse . Okay FINE , when I asked why did she do the filling then on that particular tooth and took two hours to do it . She suddenly said she's going to give me discount for $50.00 for my root canal with her !!!!!! Since then I had severe pain and I have decided to extract my tooth since my insurance money is finished for that year for her filling fees. Complaint to my insurance company about her. And office stuffs are friendly but no idea what they are doing . Asked couple of times for the money breakdown for my filling since it was FSA . And they never provided me any papers or email or fax to the insurance company , never !!!!

My son and I had our first appointments with Dr. Ullah, and we couldn't have been happier. Everything - and I mean everything - about the visit went as smoothly as I could have hoped: from Robbie's work with the initial paperwork and business side of things, to the cleaning with Kim, to Dr. Ann's exam. They're so genuinely friendly and caring - I would recommend them to absolutely anyone within driving distance.

My husband had a horrible experience! These people have been talked about very poorly and for good reason! Very unprofessional, rude, and nag you to effing death about scheduling another appointment. He's collecting his records and moving on! We were so irritated that he was made to believe he needed some bs rinse for 35.00! They want to rake you and your insurance over the coals. No dentist should make your mouth and teeth hurt so incredibly bad for days after a cleaning. I'm so so glad he didn't have his filling done there! Stay away!!
