I have a very long and hard earned phobia of dentists from age 4-5. It has never gotten any better no matter how great the dental practice is.
Allred dentistry under stood from when the appointment was made.
My very understanding husband was at this appointment and with the help from Dr. Ben Allred, his staff, I somehow made it all the way through this appointment. When I am in a dental chair I loose all ability to talk, speak coherently, I usually just cry and wimper, requiring gas to calm me down. They were not only understanding, extremely polite, compassionate, yet professional.
I have more appointment in the future from what I understand, but as for someone with severe fears of dentists, I would highly recommend Dr. Ben Allred and practice.

Myself and family having been going to the Hampton location for 5 years. We love going to Dr. Allred. The staff is very friendly and I’ve had nothing but great customer service! Adriana & Heather is the BEST!!!! I’ve never experienced no billing issues, everything was always explained up front. I met Kayla who was working up front today, and she is the sweetest. It’s the little things a person can say that means so much, Thank you Kayla! I will highly recommend this office.

Kept money for a year for a procedure I paid for AND my insurance paid. My family and I have been established patients for a few years now so they've made quite a bit of money off my family. My husband, an established patient had a dental emergency, he was in severe pain and they told me they cant see him because he has a $143 balance! And just like the previous review they told us our insurance company wouldn't pay for his procedure that's why we paid out of pocket. But they did!

For some unknown reason I really dread going to the dentist. This staff, especially Heather, makes you feel so comfortable. They explain everything throughly and they constantly asked if I was ok. It is the first time in years that I didn’t leave a dentist feeling worse then I did when I got there. I have to go back next week and have some more work done and I know I will not lose sleep the night before.

I went here every time to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. Had to make 2 different app. Witch really end up being 3 different appointments. Because they have to do an exam first . Well I haven't had to go back instill now and they tell me they can't take new customer. What the he'll are you talking bout ?? Didn't get my new appointment.. be careful they "deleted my file". Just bad business!! And rude customer service!! Hateful women!

The place really does have a "family owned" feel. I've had each of the dentists here, and they're very personable and respectful when they do their job by making sure that I'm comfortable throughout the procedure. Only thing that's a bit troubling is payment at the end, for there's almost always some sort of issue.

Had a filling in back tooth today by Dr. Ben....almost went to sleep! He and Judi were amazing and very calming! No pains, no stress gentle, BEST DENTIST I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

I haven't had a very positive experience with Allred on the business side of things. They were not upfront about the services they were providing me and I ended up being charged almost $600 for elective dental work in my children's mouths, coatings that insurance wasn't going to cover. It took months to even get an answer as to why I was being billed almost $600. I couldn't get a call back from their business agent. They just sent it to collections without ever answering me.

It wasn't until the business agent was in a car accident and Allred's wife had to step into her position did I find out what the $600 was for. They didn't explain on the day of the services that insurance would not be covering it and that I'd be paying that exorbitant amount of money on baby teeth, but being that I signed the treatment plan, I was responsible for the debt, so I paid the bill.

It didn't have to go to collections. I just needed an answer as to what I was paying for. The business agent would never return my calls to explain and I wasn't forking over that amount of money if the insurance company was actually who they needed to contact. I paid the bill the same day I got the explanation and all collections were supposed to be stopped immediately.

Now, over a year later, the business agent is back at it--or perhaps not at it. My credit has been hit for the exact same bill that I paid in July of 2016. It is October of 2017. That's just bad business. I called and explained the situation. She began to tell me that she was out of the office during that time and would have to look into it. I told her I knew that, and it was because of the car accident and that I paid the bill with Mrs. Allred who filled in for her. I remembered all the circumstances from over a year ago, so she had to know I was on top of this. She assured me she would get it taken care of, but the collector still calls me daily regarding the issue.

Luckily, the original collection agency is working with me to get a paid in full letter sent to clear up what Allred Dentistry's business agent has so poorly handled. I won't be going back.

...And this is just the business side. A fellow PTO member at the school was made to stand outside with her children, even once business hours had begun, because the receptionist refused to open the door. When my friend tried to address the issue, they excused their employees behavior saying she just doesn't feel comfortable around black women and was there alone. Side eye? Disbelief? I understand. It sounds crazy, because it is, but sadly, it's true.

There are more efficient, more forward thinking offices in the area to patronize. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
