I can't say enough good things about AWD. Dr. Bowersox is more than a dentist. She is an artist and a genius. This is not hyperbole.

I had a bit of an emergency (chipped front tooth). They squeezed me in first thing the following morning! I will say…. They were much more expensive than the rates I got from a few other places, but I also couldn’t be seen for days at other offices so I had to deal with it. I only had a fraction of the tooth to fix and it wasn’t actual tooth, rather previous bonding that broke off. So I’m still very shocked at the price. Anyway, Dr Skelton was great. Very meticulous and made sure I was happy with the job he was doing/did which I appreciated so much. Even when I got up once he was finished, he had me sit back down to address the tiniest thing I felt. I would see him again and come to him for any issues, especially cosmetic! Very informative, direct, clear, and great attention to detail. I liked that he let me see the tooth before the final touches so he could tweak anything I wasn’t happy with. I’m all about full disclosure and transparency, hence the four stars. The assistant wasn’t very clear in her answers to my questions. Lots of broken eye contact, lack of clear/concise response, head shaking and eye squinting when I asked certain reasoning behind things, and sadly I found her to be a bit pushy with treatments and future patient experience that I said I’d schedule on my own time. I even had to repeat this on day two; only had day two because I actually left with a bit of an irritation from the topical she left on a little longer than necessary so my inner lip is burned BUT, thanks to the amazing Amanda, she squeezed me in as soon as I called and I was seen that following day to address that and an issue with the tooth structure (the amazing Roger polished it up for me. So friendly, informative, and comforting. Not to mention, funny!) Dr Skelton swung by the room to talk and even applied a solution to the irritated area in my mouth. Most importantly, let’s circle back to Amanda- I don’t think I’ve ever met a happier, friendlier, most helpful and completely sweet human before in my life! I mean, she is reason enough to come to this office! She should run a business on professional-grade customer service and just how to be a happy & kind person. I cannot even come up with the words that would give her and her work here justice! They are so lucky to have her. Thank you Dr Skelton AND Amanda for a great experience!

After the shut down, work got a little crazy and unfortunately I pushed off my cleaning this summer, needless to say I was overdue. When the rare occurrence of an opening in my hygienists schedule happened, I jumped at the chance to get my teeth cleaned! The cleaning was gentle and thorough- just how I like it! Lisa is not only my hygienist but she has also become a personal friend, she remembers everything and is so caring! I know she’s been awarded best hygienist Cobb County 2 yrs in a row but if I could nominate her for #1 hygienist in the country, I’d do that too! Thanks Lisa! You are the best!

Per usual, every single human at AWD was a true gem! They are always so fun & bubbly. Easy, smooth in and out for my little cap replacement! 10/10 recommend!!

Atlanta West Dentistry is excellent. The customer service is always the best. The staff really makes you feel at home. They have become like family to me. Each and every person makes my visit to the dentist a great experience. My teeth have always received the best care. Dr. Watson and Dr. Cameron are the best. This is truly a great dentist office.

Amazing experience! Super professional and personable staff. Abbie was so great at explaining everything from start to finish. Never felt rushed at all. Very sweet team of folks!

I always have a great experience at AWD. The people are just lovely! I was disappointed to find out upon my visit that my normal hygienist was not there and received no communication that she had stepped down or taken on fewer hours. A little disappointing because I’ve seen her for years. However the young lady who took care of me was awesome. It was nice to see another person of color as that is the only thing that seems lacking given the diversity of patients. I would encourage the team to seek out people of color to join the practice on a full-time basis and not just on a rotation due to training. I would love to see the practice take this step in their recruitment efforts and not just a one time thing but a commitment to always maintain a goal of diversity and inclusion in their recruitment and retention efforts.

My dental exam by Dr Watson seemed thorough. Abby also does a a great cleaning. The staff is friendly and helpful

Very pleasant and always keeps you informed of what’s going on. Would highly recommend the practice to anyone looking for a new dentist. Love all the doctors and hygienists. Staff is awesome!

Dare I say that I actually had a PLEASANT experience at the dentist today....(Pleasant and dentist are usually not used in the same sentence.) I have extremely sensitive teeth and they took additional time to make sure I was comfortable and at ease through every step of the process. I look forward to having my teeth cleaned again. And also Lauri at the front desk for going above and beyond trying to get my dental records from previous dentist and keeping me informed via text, emails, and phone calls. Great job everyone. I now personally know why you have such high reviews!!
