Dr. Strommer and staff went above my expectations. I went in for (what I thought was a quick) review appt and Dr. Strommer realized appt would be longer than scheduled. Instead of making me come back at a later date, they fit me in and completed the procedure. He gave great advice and I will be returning for a new crown. Thanks to Dr. Strommer and staff! Customer service at its best! Mahalo.

No specialized treatment plan for those unable to sit through multiple x-rays. They take a lot of x-rays. If the painful x-ray device is not placed correctly by the Inattentive hygienist, the process takes longer. If you have a concern about the amount of radiation you are being exposed to, they are not will to offer alternative options or take fewer x-rays. At one point the hygienist directed me to hold the apparatus so she could take the x-ray. Clearly, holding my hand and arm I'm front of the x-ray machine multiple times increases unnecessary exposure. My understanding is all body parts should remain under the metal apron during x-rays. She rudely directed me to breath from my nose and not my mouth. She was unbothered by my pain as she continued to shove the large plastic films in my mouth. As a result, my lips, cheeks, soft area under my tonge, and top of mouth are sore and irritated. I felt as if I was having a panic attack. There has to be a better, more practical form of treatment! I found the staff and doctor to be uncaring and unconcerned about individual patient needs. More concerned about the money. Aweful experience! NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. NOT GENTLE. NOT RESPONSIVE TO PATIENT CONCERNS.

Everything went well with mu crown replacement. Before I could get comfortable surfing the internet, the hygienist came to take me to the office. She took care of the preparations before calling Dr. Coloma. I had no idea what he was doing inside my mouth. But, before he put on the crown, he explained to me by showing me the x-ray, the mold, and the small metal devices removed from and inserted into the post. The procedure was very complicated and required a high degree of skill. Dr. Coloma is very good at what he does.

All I have to say is RUN!! By far the worst dentist facility I've EVER been to!! I should have made my decision based off of the ratings not to come here, but I give everyone a fair chance (mistake). The communication there is horrible, the facility is mediocre and some of the staff is inconsiderate. If this is the dentist you are considering for you and your family PLEASE continue to research other facilities and save yourself the heartaches I've been through!! Oh and don't reschedule an appointment within 72 hours, because it will cost you $100 and $200 plus for the Specialist cancellation (this was not my issue, but good info for others to know).

I like the fact that I am always well informed of my out-of-pocket costs BEFORE any work is performed. The staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Coloma and Dr. Lee-Ching are great! The only concern is the $100 fee if you miss an appointment, but I guess time is money!

The staff is polite. And the doctor does great work, my only problem is why do i schedule an appointment just to sit and wait for 40 mins after my appointment has been made? It’s really frustrating.
Your time is just as important as mine! I’ve had this problem with every visit.

Was looking for a new dentist in Aiea and found this on Yelp. I popped in one day waiting at Ichiriki (the office is next door) - they're open during the evenings and weekends, which is must for my family. Everyone was nice and they had appointments available the same week. We needed a pediatric dentist though (daughter is 2), so they ended up referring me to their Mililani location.
