Great dental practice! I've been to several dentists and this practice has been the best! Dr. John Meyer is the best! Everytime we have come we always have gotten in 15 minutes early! Dr. Meyer has always come out to the waiting room to come talk to us. He is very thorough. Dental practice is always always busy!

Are you kidding me? My hygienist and my doctor rocks! I went to them about 3 years ago and my teeth were a mess, seriously. I am old and I just was hoping to hold on to what I have! And between the two of them they did it! Definitely awesome women, thank you Dr. Edward's and West Des Moines Dental!

The technician reiterated 3 times how I hadn’t been to a dentist in over a year. In the past year I have relocated and was a frontline healthcare worker so my own health needs were on the back burner, not exactly a warm welcome for a new client. First question I was asked was if I still had my wisdom teeth, I told them yes however they have never caused me issues. Dr Alli still recommended that I have wisdom teeth removed despite the fact they are not and have not ever caused problems. My two previous dentists never recommended removal and there has been no change. Definitely not a fan of pushing procedures that aren’t necessary. Needless to say I was quite disappointed with the experience, for a 4 star office I was expecting better. I will be looking into other offices in the area before I return here.

Dr. John Meyer and his assistant did the most outstanding job and far exceeded my expectations. I hadn’t visited a dentist in 5 years and having him perform the cleaning for the first visit was very reassuring to me that I was getting worked on by the most experienced person in the office. The results were spectacular - 5 years of plaque on the back teeth sanded off - I figured I was going to get gouged for a major cleaning, tons of fillings, and everything else under the sun in dentistry since I hadn’t kept up with dental check-ups and cleanings. The fact that nothing was wrong and Dr. Meyer stating that I had really good teeth, built up the trust factor and made me realize I was working with a dentist with high integrity. I look forward to returning and referring others.

West Des Moines Dental Center is exemplary in every way. All staff, technicians, and doctors are top notch in ability as well as friendliness. We actually look forward to our visits! They take extra safety precautions with Covid-19, however, they've always been very cautious about cleanliness.
