I got my teeth taken out today and the two people who worked on it are the angels in human forms. I was so nervous because I was there alone and all my teeth appointment I was always with my mom. But the people I met today made me feel like I was not alone. Especially (Ms Dee!!) she’s really the best no cap For a second I thought I was with my mom. You guys (dr. Fisher, Dee) are the best in what you do. Continue doing the Good work!! I promise when I become a nurse, I will pay it forward. (Best experience ever!!!)I love you ❤️

The scheduling clerk is awful. She talked over me and then wasnt helpful at all...just didn't care. No matter what I'd say, she would just talk over me and then say the exact opposite of what she just said before. I can't, like I can't. I went through a really traumatic deal that got me dealing with UK dentistry and I'm too afraid to call because everybody's so freaking rude there and it's not the best having students working on a trauma case.
Don't recommend.

The lady and gentlemen that took care of me were very caring in every way, after they acknowledged that I was very nervous and worried about getting my tooth extracted. The Gentleman kept asking if I was okay and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I did not feel any pain or a pinch at that. I wish I can remember the names, but they did great. Thank you

If you want to experience the future of socialized medicine/dentistry this is the place to go. The urgent care clinic is like a visit to Cuba. There is no clear sign describing where to go, and everyone rushes the window when it opens, without regard to the order of arrival. A disgrace. Then when pass go you will find the minimum treatment cost is $157, which is 57% higher than IUPUI dental school in Indianapolis. The reviews for this facility are frightening.

A family member of mine had to have their teeth removed.
First of all, when trying to sedate- the dentist blew their vein and blood went EVERYWHERE. As a trained phlebotomist myself I knew exactly what he did wrong. If he didn’t know what to do he should have asked someone for help. He even mentioned to me that if he failed I could do it. Who says that in front of their patient?? Second, he didn’t finish removing the teeth on time and decided to make another appointment a week apart. They lives out of state so that couldn’t happen. The surgery hurts and I don’t blame them for not wanting to go through it twice. They managed to get them in today. I understand that it’s a learning school, but as a pre-dentistry student myself, I understand what good practice looks like. They had poor communication skills and lacked time management. Today we arrived at 10:30am like the student told us to over the phone. When we settled in the resident told us they were scheduled for 10:00am. Mind you-the RESIDENT didn’t tell me OR my boyfriend. He told his patient who was under anesthesia. As I went to pick them up, they didn’t know where they went. They were OUTSIDE!! Anything could’ve happened to them. You’re telling me…in a school full of students and doctors…that they let them walk OUT of the office and onto campus without knowing….
When they removed their top teeth it took three hours. Today, since we were apparently late- the resident said they’re going to try to do it fast so they can go on their lunch break. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! It was lack of communication between the resident and student when it came to scheduling. We asked and verified for 10:30 and they managed to tell us we were wrong. My family member continued to tell them that last time they felt pain when removing the teeth. They weren't fully sedated. The resident assured them that they were because they would be screaming. He basically said “too bad were sedating you now.” He didn’t answer any of their questions about their medication or follow up because he said he needed to get the teeth out before noon so the students could take their lunch. It’s ridiculous how they treated us. Looking at this now with my own eyes, I don’t think I’ll want to attend UK when I graduate my pre-dentistry degree.

Long wait..but they do accept Medicaid and tell you upfront about the wait and go above and beyond to fit you in for emergency services

Go elsewhere for for your dental needs! They make mistakes and then try to cover them up. They have a consent form that states if they mess up, they’re covered. Very deceptive! They costed me a healthy tooth, but stated they provided me “high, quality care.” Really? When did it take over an hour to extract a tooth, resulting in loss of an adjacent tooth, resulting in an implant for it, and slim chance for the other because they took out too much bone? Not quality care! And I left with a bursted, bloody mouth, because the dentist kept numbing me and hitting my mouth with the instrument, and my lips were sliced by some type of wire. My jaw was sore for several months after, and actually has never felt the same. I would appreciate if the Associate Dean would get the facts before he sends me another misinformed letter. And I don’t owe the place a dime. It’s the other way around! Don’t go here, folks!

I called here to schedule an appointment for an exam and pricing because I knew I had a cavity , I also had no insurance so cost was a factor . The receptionist who I explained this to on the phone was nice enough to let me know they were having free exams on a certain date , which would save me 120$ and they could price the treatment needed. So I wait a week and show up an hour early to get signed in . I go back and get several xrays at which time the student working with me says " if you have the type of cavity we need to fix to graduate, we will fix it for free and compensate you for your time " .... awesome ...right ?! So he calls over his superior to look at cavity but it wasn't the cavity needed to perform free procedure :( the student then tells me " sorry not what we are looking for , you'll have to get an appointment to have a full exam for pricing..... so I go to front desk to schedule but the receptionist says they have no openings for exams for the next 25 days and cannot schedule any farther .........
So not only did I completely waste my time being a guine pig for a certain type of cavity, I coudnt get a real appointment and I had to pay for parking at their garage.
Completely mislead by initial call..... I will never go back . Also The lady who checked me in ( the last booth if we have assigned seats ) her breath was sooo bad I could smell it from her chair to my nose ( which was about 4 - 5 feet away ...... at a dentist office... smh .....

I have Delta Dental Insurance and made appointments for my 2 sons & I for a cleaning at the Turfland Mall location. We had our appointments. The offices were clean & staff was polite, but the dental hygienist was rough & the dentist himself rude. My son & I needed fillings, so we made a return date. That day, they numbed half my son's face, the dentist was again rude. As we were waiting for numbing to complete, a staff member came in and informed me that they did not accept my Delta Dental, but they could still do the fillings for a little over $100 a piece. We left with my son numb for no reason. 2 weeks later I receive 3 bills for $292 a piece for the cleanings. To me that was a completely unethical move & mean to a kid. They should have checked the insurance before the cleanings or at least before the filling appointment. They should have not shot up a kid and then said oh well.

Don’t get me wrong, the people are lovely and they’ve done a nice job on my teeth. However, I’m a student and I have two jobs. That being said it’s really difficult to work to the hospital’s schedule when they forget to schedule you in EVERY TIME you’ve visited. So once again, I have to wait for them to pencil me in when I’ve already made a set appointment, meanwhile I’m on a limited time range since I’m calling into my work for this. The frustration from the lack of organization irks me.
