We have recently relocated to Lafayette and needing a new dentist, of course, we through our insurance for preferred providers! Wow! We definitely hit the jackpot with this dental office overall!
The office itself is immaculate! The dentists and dental staff are most friendly from the time you walk in till the time you step out. Everyone is smiling and extremely reassuring during your dental work. They explain everything to you before and throughout your procedure. I am a new patient at Theriot Family Dental and I have to admit, it has been several years since I had been to the dentist. The previous experience was horrible and my view of dentists was not very good. Due to a tooth issue, I was forced to tie my heart and call for an appt. Theriot Family Dental was on my insurance plan and the reviews were very good, so I decided to call and see if they catered to cowards. The receptionist was very nice on the phone and reassured me that they would take good care of me. I am forever grateful for the kind and supportive staff I met during my appt. Nikki, hygienist, was amazing. She took the time to sit with me and calm my fears. She explained everything she was going to do and made me feel like a friend instead of a patient. She was super sweet. Dr. Soirez was great as well. She reviewed my treatment plan and gave her recommendations; however, I was never pushed for services and was even offered alternative options that are better suited financially. Everyone was so nice and supportive and they have eased my apprehension of going to the dentist. Highly recommend them!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Theriot for almost 8 years while I lived in Lafayette. I had a lot of dental work done at his clinic. I have been traveling for work the last few months and I am stopping in Lafayette to visit wife's family. I have had three fillings fall out in the last 3 weeks. I had two replaced in Idaho which cost me $600 out of pocket as I currently do not have dental insurance. I need to get this third filling replaced and figured I would call Dr. Theriot seeing how he put in these faulty fillings. His receptionist was extremely rude to me. I had questions about just replacing the fillings and she insisted "first you come in and pay $98 for xrays, then it just depends." I just feel short changed at this place. I spent A TON of money for dental work by this guy, and now that I need help on wirk he did, I get no help? I would not recommend this place to anybody (unless you want your $400 fillings to begin falling out a couple years later).
