On behalf of the Back to School Backpack Program I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Bryant and his very professional staff for their generosity in donating dental supplies. This is the third year that the Elks Lodge of Augusta, Maine is hoping to distribute 400 backpacks to students K - 12 in the Augusta area. This year's date is Sunday, August 18th. My job was to reach out in the Augusta community to request toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss for the backpacks. I am so grateful to Bryant Dental Care for the positive experience that I had when I reached out for the first time to this office. Went here for a bad Tmj issue, as advertised as a place that treats this issue. Spent 500$ up front, anlong with bringing my own MRI scans of my jaw fir my first vist. Spent 20 or so minutes here with the dentist. Did not get any extra scans done which is needed because the MRI I had brong with was not good enough. Therefore I will have to go back again for these scans and with 1200+ more $ to get a scan done. I almost feel like the first visit at 500$ should of came with a new scan of my jaw but not so. So as have to save up for another year or so to be able to have this done I feel like it was a wast of my time and money. Also this was a 3 hours drive from my home. I now have a appointment with a orthodontist to try and deal with this issue for a first visit of 150$ . This will probably not be a place I go back to, as 500$ is alot of money to spend on a somewhat dianosees. I do have insurance but they do not deal with them unless it's dental, which dental insurance doesn't cover TMJ issue. Thanks for the wast of time and nonmo I work hard for and saved hopping for some kind of relief. I might get relief if I fork out another 1200+ $ .
