I have significant anxiety and related trauma surrounding dental cleanings. The staff listened to me, respected my needs, accommodated me in every way that they could, modified techniques when needed. They were kind and gentle when I panicked, took their time and allowed me time to recover and recenter. Truly patient and supportive of someone who understands the value of maintaining good oral hygiene and dental health but struggles enormously with being in the chair. Highly recommend for anyone with dental trauma and anxiety who needs patience and kindness.

Every aspect of my visit, and the work that was done was more than satisfactory. Time was taken to explain my particular situation, and I was made to feel comfortable through the process of removing a molar. I would highly recommend Rockland Family Dentistry.

This was my first visit to them and everyone was so nice. Lauren was very good doing my cleaning. We talked about my concerns and she was very knowledgeable. I am so Happy to have a great team working there.. I called the night before to see if they were taking new clients on and they called me back the very next morning and I was able to go right in the same day. I really liked everyone there. They were all really nice, very friendly and they are Covid friendly. I am planning on staying with them. Everyone was so helpful in getting this appointment in the first place, and then very friendly, painless, and professional during the visit. So grateful to be able to take care of my issue on a roadtrip more than 3,000 miles from home!

I first need to say that I am so nervous at the dentist. I needed help and fast. They took me the next day. I needed an extraction and bone graph because the roots on the tooth were flared out and we want to reserve the bone for next steps of partial or replacement. I was so afraid because I was to be awake and had never been awake before. Chandni Mahajan, DDS and her team were so compassionate and caring. They all worked to put me at ease. I had the work done Monday. I was warned there could be swelling and bruising. Mahajan was so good that I only bled for a few hours. Only needed Tylenol for pain. Today is Wednesday and haven’t need any Tylenol since Tuesday. This office and team are the best. I can’t say enough great things about the teamwork, compassion and patients they all have.

Dr. Mahajan upon the first visit was calming, reassuring and went as slow as I needed. She talked to me about signs of Sleep Apnea she was seeing in my mouth. I followed up with my primary care doctor and after tests and referrals I was shocked to see my results. My oxygen dipped as low as 60% and I had 72 episodes an hour, some of them were complete stopping of breathing. Thanks to her knowledge I am now under treatment and definitely see a change. Thank you Dr. Mahajan for all your support and really caring about all aspects of your patients lives.

I had my first appointment with the Rockland Family Dental group recently and I was very pleased with the experience. Lauren was my hygienist and she was very skilled and personable. Dr. Mahajan was very thorough and quickly (with the aid of a never before seen by me - stylus-type camera) identified a cavity and other potential dental issues for future scrutiny. I was able to secure a follow up appointment for a filling in a timely manner. The office seemed to be following the strict guidelines for a safe experience in terms of safe distancing, etc. I am very pleased with the new practice and feel secure about future care.

I had an extraction of a molar.. it went very smoothly. On time, no complications, from a caring dentist and staff!

I am so happy I went with this dental practice. Dr. Mahajan is SO nice and SO very patient. I have an irrational fear of all things dental, and she was so empathetic to me being a scaredy cat. I cannot stress enough how much I value that kind of care. Like, not just saying "oh, you'll be fine" but actually talking it out with me and giving me the option to stop if I needed a breather. Had a procedure done today that I have been dreading, but Dr. Mahajan really put me at ease and let me listen to my headphones the whole time to keep distracted. I also took my 4 year old there a week ago for a cleaning, and the dental tech was so nice and made it so much fun for her.
Very impressed with this practice. The entire staff is very welcoming and professional, and the office is cozy and clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
