I can't recommend Dr. Hammer and team enough. Everyone at the office is kind and professional. I recently went for a whitening service and was thrilled with the results. Recently in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic and being in another state, I broke a tooth down to the gum line. I sought assistance from Zoe and Dr. Hammer at the Dental Group. They immediately responded and helped me identify a competent resource for a needed root canal in another State. I have not been to a dentist for 6 years, and have had some problem with my permanent retainer wire. I thought, I’ll try out this dental office, a little worry at first. I don't know what kind of service, they will provide. All my worries were quickly put to rest. The Orthodontist looks young, but I assure you, he knows what he is doing, and he takes care of my problem within minutes! They are very profession and they don't to screw you in any way at all. I am conscientious of these kinda of stuff, they are very ethical. Shortly after, I have gone back for full dental checkup and cleaning. The cleaning was excellent, the Hygienist is EXREMELY thorough. I am very satisfied with the staff. Kong

Unfortuantely, I never had the opportunity to meet Dr. Hammer. His receptionist, Zoey, was rude, rigid and not willing to work with me over a simple request. I simply needed my mom, a current client, to call and make an appt for me. She needed to be present and due to availability reasons, it was best she make the appt. I told Zoey I could give her all needed information now so she had it on file. Then, my mom can take over. She insisted this was a strict policy and a simple request of having my mom make an appt for me could not be met. Keep in mind, my mom is a current client. So, Zoey is not only turning away a new client, but potentially losing the business of a current one. I can not say I am surprised as today's customer service standards are not what they use to be. However, Zoey does not even try to be customer friendly or work with the customer at all even at the expense of the practice.

I will say that at first, I was very impressed by the work, the overall cleanliness and professionalism of office, but unfortunately, like most dental groups, they have a way of misleading you or coercing you into having costly work done that is either quoted wrong in price or your insurance estimate. I normally wouldn't complain, but when the actual costs are thousands more than what was quoted to me by the Dr., it is extremely upsetting. I would suggest they be more upfront with patients when it comes to finances. When I thought I had paid the total at the inception of a series of several appointments to have a tooth extracted and a permanent crown implanted, I received an additional bill of $2,000 months later, after paying over $700 already, and quoted the total process would be $1,000-1,500, even after insurance? Not cool... I will not have major work done there in the future.
