Westwood Dentistry

I was unfortunately unsatisfied with the process of having my first appointment at Westwood Dentistry. I changed the date of my original appointment and when I came in on the new date, there was no record of my appointment. While I understand that this can happen, the folks at the desk started accusing me of not rescheduling my appointment and asking what day/time and with whom I spoke to. I also gave my insurance information over the phone when I rescheduled and this information was not found on my file, which makes me nervous about where this personal information ended up. When I was then admitted into a room, the hygienist continuously typed notes on the computer while conducting my exam. This was done without changing gloves so the gloves that were used to type on the computer multiple times were used to clean my teeth. Upon my checkup with the doctor, I was told that one of my devices done by my previous prosthodontist had to be replaced soon. When I asked why or if the device was breaking, the response was that eventually everything breaks. Upon looking at my X-ray, I was initially told that no work needed to be done but that a cavity was forming. A few minutes later, the dentist changed his thoughts and explained that I needed it filled immediately. Although the hygienist and dentist I saw were both extremely kind, I did not feel comfortable having more work done. I called multiple times to cancel my filling appointment and could not get in contact with anyone so I left a voicemail. I then received a call back after my appointment date and was accused of never cancelling the appointment.

OOPS! I meant to give a five star rating! Actually, I would give them a 10 if it was a choice!!! Emily is the best!!!

I had a filling done at the suggestion of Dr. Rawat. I had not had any issues previously, but since the filling a year ago I've had sensitivity in that tooth. When I brought it up at the office he dismissed me, saying I must be feeling sensitivity in another tooth and that we should fill that one as well. I would not recommend.

I love this dental practice. Very informed staff who takes their time with you & answers all your questions. I truly feel that they care. The office is also very very clean.

The team was amazing, I went in for a cleaning days after part of my back left tooth broke off. After the cleaning and examination the dr came in and said we can fix this right now or you can come back. This was at 5:30PM! I of course opted for the “let’s do it now” option. 45 minutes (totally painlessly) later I was walking out the door with a sparkling clean smile and a fixed tooth! A raving fan!

Dr Rawat is exceptionally professional and very thorough in explaining the procedure. He has a great ability to put the patient at ease. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Westwood Dentistry.

The dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists all have done a thorough job working with me! They truly have cared about getting to know me and learn about my dental history and have treated me with the utmost care possible!! Thank you 😊

I normally don't enjoy the dentist, but I always leave Westwood Dentistry smiling because they are so great! Everyone here is so friendly and they really do everything they can to accommodate schedules and getting you in fast when there is an emergency!
