Dr. Scott D. Erler, DDS

Dr. Erler did an incredible job for me. I had many old fillings that were destroying my teeth. He repaired all of them pain free with phenomenal results. I can't tell where my fillings are anymore. Great guy too. His staff is also very friendly and very professional. I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommended!!!

I hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years. I was very concerned that I would be ridiculed and shamed for neglecting my teeth. Dr. Erler was extremely kind and understanding of my situation and gave me preference to scheduling for some wisdom teeth extractions. Dr Erler was very careful and gentle with my procedure and made sure that throughout the process I was comfortable and couldn't feel any pain. He was also very accommodating and thorough with my after care and answered all my worried questions promptly with immediate follow up appointments. It is clear Erler is experienced at his trade and it shows in his practice. His staff is also very nice and down to earth people. They explained all my costs and insurance coverages upfront and clearly. Any time I have questions or apprehension they go above and beyond to answer my worries. They have a customer for life in me. Very impressived with this dentistry.

I am enjoying the natural fit of four frontal crowns - that have changed my teeth to what I had as a teenager! A five star rating means perfection - and this is the first time I believe it actually such a rating is deserved - as it was a perfect experience! Dr. Erler has changed my smile and the staff were exceptional in a professional and friendly manner during the entire process. Painless! The reason why I put it off for so long and now - I know I should never have waited! Trust Dr. Erler and staff-their expertise will change your smile with comfort and the newest of materials and technology available.

I would happen to disagree with the previous review. While they might not over book, they book your follow up appointment at least a month out for dental work. He drilled and file the wrong tooth on my son. If he had looked at the X-ray taken at te previous appointment he would've know it was the wrong tooth. They are not overly professional. My teeth did not feel as clean as they should have after my last cleaning. We did a few appointments here (about a year) and we have switched dentists already.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Erler this morning, and was very impressed with him, as well as his suppport staff. He uses state of the art technology and is very thorough. Very personable and easy to talk to, so you feel at ease in the Clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Erler and his staff.

I’ve been seeing Doc Erler since 1997. I’ve always been pleased with the outcome especially the cleaning leaving my teeth nice and smooth. The few fillings I have are holding up nicely. Not to mention I like doing business with a fellow native Montanan.

Dr. Scott Erler has about 42 years of experience under his belt, including a few years in the Air Force. He has been around, and knows how to fix teeth like nobody I have ever seen before. Upon my retirement almost 20 years ago, I started seeing Dr. Erler based on a recommendation. Since then, he has done many new crowns, a nice-looking bridge in front, serious cleanings, and other repairs for me, each time going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the job gets done right and in a timely manner.

As of 13 years ago, my wife from Indonesia also sees him, and she too is very happy with the results. Then came our 2 little girls. Dr. Erler and his staff gave them a tour of the facilities when they were toddlers, allowed them to sit in a chair, check out the equipment, let them to take a peek with what was going on with daddy or mommy, thereby taking all the fear out of their hearts for later on. That dose of child psychology worked so well.

From the get-go, believe it or not, our little girls (now 8 & 10) actually look forward to seeing Dr. Erler and friends at his office. The little one just had 4 nasty baby teeth pulled out, and was actually looking forward to having it done. She knew what to expect and was not afraid. Dr. Erler has good hands, is so careful and gentle, especially with kids.

Dr. Erler always makes the right recommendations, whether it is within his own office, or sending us out to see other specialists, surgeons, orthodontists, etc, as required.

Everything Scott does is 100% professional. He stays up with the latest in dental procedures, technologies and equipment. He and his staff are so friendly, it’s often difficult to leave their office. They care. They want their patients to be happy. His rates are more than reasonable. His office is colorful, warm, and cozy.

And they are taking wonderful care of our little girls’ teeth beyond my imagination (hair line grooves that have to be sealed, crowding of baby teeth that must be addressed, etc.). Like Mohammad Ali, this guy is the greatest. His staff is the greatest! I would never consider going to another dentist.

Doctor Erler always does a fantastic job. Great assistants and friendly staff. I have been going here ever since I was a little kid and I have no complaints! Highly recommend if you're looking for a new dentist in town!

Erler's staff - specifically Gama - would rather fill your teeth with the least expensive available materials and do as little repair work as possible. She does work on the side where she aggressively denies claims for an insurance company, reviewing other dentist's work and, unfortunately, that is her mindset. That would leave me with little confidence in her reasoning and her ability to put the patient first. Visit Erler DDS at your own risk.
