Review of Alpenglow Dental

Alpenglow Dental:

Alpenglow Dental is a dental clinic located in Whitefish, Montana. The clinic offers a range of dental services, including regular check-ups, cleaning, fillings, implants, and cosmetic dentistry. The clinic is open from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The clinic is closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The clinic is staffed with friendly and professional dental hygienists and dentists. Patients have praised the staff for their accommodating and gentle approach, particularly with those who have sensitive teeth or jaw issues. The clinic has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and patients have described their teeth cleaning experience as "more relaxing than a massage." The clinic also offers a take-1 bowl of "Dad" jokes, which adds a fun and lighthearted touch to the visit.

However, one negative review mentioned poor communication and surprise bills. The patient claimed that the clinic dropped their insurance without informing them and failed to let them know about an unpaid balance. The patient also claimed that the receptionist was rude and unhelpful when they tried to resolve the issue.

Overall, Alpenglow Dental has received positive reviews from patients who appreciate the staff's professionalism, knowledge, and caring approach. Patients have also praised the clinic's cleanliness and its ability to accommodate patients with dental anxiety or sensitivity.

I had been with Alpenglow Dental for 15 years. I had know idea how much more expensive it was than other providers in my area until my insurance stopped carrying them as a Preferred Provider. I switched to the one they did carry and found out that there was a large price discrepancy between the two, which explained the reason they stopped carrying. The people that work at Alpenglow are great and seem to be in good spirits, but the billing department is terrible. The delays and additional charges that creep up after the insurance is settled are unacceptable and I am glad I have broken free from them.

Great visit today! New Dr. Light (sp?) didn’t try and sell me anything or ask me a bunch of questions while he had his fingers in my mouth :P I recommend Alpenglow Dental for their nice office and all their staff.

Dr. Laura and Jaci are the best! Jaci takes extra care to make sure I am comfortable and gets my teeth so clean! They both are very kind and caring, remembering discussions we had from previous appointments. They make a great team!

I had an incisor crown fitted this morning. The staff have been very patient and diligent ensuring that the finished product is as good as it can be and customer satisfaction and quality is number 1. Great job guys, I'd recommend you to anyone. Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year :)

We have 4 kids ages 10-18 who have been going to this dentist for years. My husband and I also use them for ourselves. We are always greeted with a friendly face and our kids are always taken care of. We have never had a bad experience here and with 6 people visiting 2xs a year if not more we frequent this place a lot.

Aplenglow Dental gives great care! I've had a number of different hygienists and they've all been wonderful. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and always happy to address my concerns and questions.

After a decade of getting my dental care at Alpenglow, I had to make the decision to leave. I initially loved Alpenglow and planned on being a loyal customer for life. Alas, I am sad to say that the customer service and level of care have declined over the past 10 years. In the past 3 years I've had one of the dental hygienist chip my crown when prying off cement that was apparently left there when the crown was initially placed (no one offered to fix it), one of the dentist "forgot to fill a cavity" (that's a direct quote from the dental staff) when I was at a scheduled appointment to have two filled, and another dentist tell me that I should forcibly hold down my 18 month old, pry his mouth open, and floss his teeth daily. Not to mention there are so many hygienist and dentists there that the environment feels like barely controlled chaos.

The confirmation that I was making the right decision was when I called to cancel my remaining appointments... the receptionist was extremely short with me and was very unconcerned that I was no longer wanting to continue as a patient. She didn't ask why or offer her apologies that I was leaving, but she definitely did a great job at making me feel expendable. To top it all off, I went to my new dentist and advised him of the cavity that one of Apenglow dentists told me I had. After my new dentist did x-rays and my exam he told me I absolutely did not have any cavities and my teeth looked great. I wonder how much other unnecessary dental work I had done over the span of 10 years at Alpenglow?

Going to the dentist terrified me, to the point I had not seen one in many years. I went to them off a recommendation from a friend and they were soooo accommodating, friendly and I highly recommend them! They made me feel very comfortable and safe which is very important to me given the traumatizing experiences in my past. They never made me feel inferior or beneath them or like I wasn't important.

My husband lost a filling on a Saturday night. He thought at the time that he might have been able to make it to Monday but by Sunday morning he was pretty uncomfortable and we knew it would get worse. I called Dr. Larson’s emergency number at 8:00 on Sunday morning and we were at Alpenglow in an hour, with Dr. Larson dressed to teach Sunday School, ready to fix my husband’s tooth! So compassionate and willing to help out, despite its impact on his plans. Thank you Dr. Larson!!

Once again....Lori is my absolute favorite!!! We laugh and talk about life throughout the appointment which keeps my mind at ease. Going to the dentist used to be scary..... today is all smiles! Thanks for all you do Lori! On a side note....in today's society about numbers, numbers, numbers...being personal and taking the time with each patient is so important. I've had to see someone else when Lori wasn't available....I will wait for her. There's something about conversation that is so important for my comfort. Only Lori can explain where we came from and where we are today....and that would have never happened without conversation.
