Highlights: ERASING CHILDHOOD TRAUMA!!! Every staff member here, at the Smiles Dentistry on Maryland Parkway, goes above, and beyond! From front reception, to operations manager, dentist and of course the hygienist! Take my word for it, this has to be one of the best dental practices in the world... Definitely give this branch a shot. 💉
Here's some backstory for the raving review. As a child I had attended a college dental training program for my mother to save some $$$ it was... Horrible. To say the least, I was never able to be comfortable at the dentists for a long time, I had gone enough times between then and this most recent experience at smiles, to tell you, that this location... has some of THE BEST people working for the operation.
I have NEVER felt comfortable at a dentist without NOS (Nitrous oxide) due to however many reasons at other dental offices, wether it was uncleanliness, awkwardness, professionalism, you name it. There has always been SOMETHING that made me uncomfortable at the dentists, that FORCED me to feel as though I NEEDED some type of relaxant (in the dental world they usually recommend Nitrous Oxide).
Until Smiles came along... I needed to get a good amount of work done, simply due to the fact that I hated going to dentists. I hated everything about it, the x-rays, the shots (oh don't get me started on the shots) ... Everything.
SMILES with this staff on Maryland Parkway, was just... Different! I am SO thankful for them, and everything they have done for me SO FAR (almost done!! Yay!!)
They have made me feel SO comfortable, that I am now able to, SAVE MONEY 💸💸💰💰💲💲, and no longer feel as though I require NOS. (Shots aren't as bad as I remembered without nitrous!!) That's an EASY 50$-100$ per visit, depending on your dentist.
I never thought I would ever say in my life that I looked forward to my next dental visit. Frankly, if it were a free service, I probably would say that 😂.
Anyways, I just want to say again, a huge shout out to the staff at Smiles Dentistry on Maryland Parkway, for making me feel like I can be a kid again, and not have to be scared of the big bad tooth "MAN" just because I had some bad experiences.
