I was a patient for several years. None of the three dentists I saw over the years listened to the concerns I had. I went elsewhere for a second opinion and now I have to have thousands of dollars of work on several teeth that I can't afford. For a routine cleaning the office is great. Beyond that, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I have been seeing Kristy for 15+ yrs, and I have been a patient at Dr. Gambacorta’s office for 35+ yrs. That should speak for itself.

I made an appointment about 6 weeks ago for today. I even received the reminder call that let me know if I couldn't make it and didn't give 24 hours notice that I'd receive a no-show fee. I took the day off work for this appointment, and was just called (about 9am) to cancel my 1pm appointment. So now I've lost a day of pay just to not be seen by a hypocritical practice that will charge you if you cancel short notice, but it's not a problem if they cancel short notice.
For whatever reason, they were under the impression that I might be able to come in later this week during the work day for another appointment. I'm obviously not taking any more time off from work to be seen here after this, so I said I'd only be available in the evenings after my work day, so now my appointment is in mid-April.
I know there are waits to get an appointment for a lot of smaller dental practices right now, so my advice would be to go to a different place if you're not established yet.

I went for a cleaning today after my March appointment was postponed due to the Covid shutdown. The staff made me feel safe. I waited in my car, had my temperature checked and everyone in the office was wearing safety equipment and practicing social distance. I had my x-rays, teeth cleaned and checked by dentist. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I went in to get my wisdom tooth taken out and it was so quick! I was a new patient and I was able to schedule on Saturday and get in on Monday. I was also able to get a late appointment, which is great when you are working. The staff was super friendly as well. I will definitely be coming back.

After some inexplicable triggering moment in my past, I’ve held onto a fear/anxiety of the dentist that has carried me well into adulthood. Despite doing my best to care for my teeth; health, age, and lack of true dental care have all taken a significant toll. My mother has been going to Dr. Gambacorta for years and BEGGING me to try it, going as far as to casually telling Dr. G about me, who in turn told her to invite me to one of her visits where I could meet them and see facility.
After a watershed moment in which I couldn’t believe THIS was my mouth (as well as realizing it is NOT normal to want these mask mandates to last forever because then I can hide my mouth) I made an appointment.
From the FIRST phone call, this place has has exceeded ALL expectations (sorry mom, didn’t think it could be THAT great!) the staff on the phone was awesome and compassionate, empathizing with my plight and easing anxiety. The same went for staff when I arrived. Also during the phone call, I was informed of an in-house program to assist people like me without dental insurance, which is EXTREMELY generous.
During my visit, I was paired with Kristy, who is AMAZING and who took everything I told her to heart, respecting my fears as well as my medical history with compassion and without stigma. I had the incredible opportunity to reconnect with Dr. DiBenedetto who was my CHILDHOOD dentist (NOT the one leading to my dental issues, my family had to switch due to insurance issues) and although I was ashamed to show him what one of his former patients (never had cavities, etc) had progressed to was assured I was not judged and that we would get things on track and in the coming months would get to know each other real well, lol, as I’ll be going there a lot, haha. However, they were thorough, explaining what needed to be done with EACH tooth, one that they intend to fill but might need more extensive work, as well as addressing what’s bothering ME the most (coupled with what appears most urgent in X-rays)
When I got home I knew I needed to review them and when I saw the number of reviews as well as score, it seems clear their reputation is universal and I just feel fortunate to have made it here.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!! xx
EDIT: I've now had my SECOND appointment, the first of several in which "Dr. Paul" is going to get my teeth in shape. Between his compassion as well as his assistant's (whose name I NEED to get!) I was relaxed and AMAZED by the end when it was over without even realizing it! Never in a million years did I think I'd be able to get this work I needed done, especially without being totally knocked out. They didn't touch me until I was numb and went to great effort to ensure my comfort. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment. The fact I can look at these teeth they fixed without wanting to cry is INCREDIBLE.
