Gentle Dentistry of Lancaster

Being someone who consistently was afraid to go to the dentist due to my severe anxiety, I never thought I'd feel comfortable going to one but that has changed. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor are so friendly and helpful. They address your issues without putting blame on you and make you feel secure leaving. I'm a huge fan and for anyone with anxiety like me, I highly recommend them!!

The staff are Always a pleasure to talk to, always happy to answer any questions or concerns I had about any procedure done. Got my Invisalign today, and they went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of.

It's been years since I have been here and it really questioned why I ever left the whole staff was amazing!! I would love to add after my initial visit back on 5/17 I was scheduled to have a tooth removed on 5/27 with Dr. Bartos(super excited his is back) I called 2 times on 5/18 and they were able to get me in today due to the pain and me not being able to sleep. I would totally recommend anyone going Herr especially if you have any anxiety about going to the dentist they really put me at ease. THANK YOU DR. BARTOS

I would not recommend for any type of extraction. Dentist had an attitude and was talking about how much of a pita it was going to be right in front of me. I asked if it was going to be a hard job and he confirmed that that was what he was just talking about. Dentist also didn't wait for the numbing shot to take effect before pulling teeth. I went in at 1 pm and walked out at 2 pm feeling a great deal number after leaving some time later. I told the dentist I could feel the pain and he didn't seem to care and pulled it anyways without waiting long enough for numbing agent to completely take effect. Terrible experience and they spelled my name wrong on top of everything. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TRUST ME. They wouldn't see me a few days before extraction when I contacted them complaining of swollen neck and possible infection. They told me the dentist said to go to a doctor. Seems like the dentist has more important things to do instead of being a dentist. I can't believe how much negative energy they gave off pre- procedure. Go here if you want to feel like an inconvenience.

I have worked for Gentle Dentistry of a little over 2 years now and absolutely love it here. I couldn't ask for better coworkers or a better working environment. At Gentle Dentistry we are a family. We try to treat our Patients like our extended family coming for a visit. I have worked with some great doctors at this practice. They are all very gentle and care about the patients needs. Our X-rays are fully digital allowing fast and efficient diagnosis of dental needs with less radiation.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out.

I’ll never return after having an appointment with gentle dentistry yesterday 06/09/2021 absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with a dentist. I made it very clear making my appointment that I work and a lot, in fact i told her the days I was off and available to come in for that week and she tried to schedule me on a day I couldn’t, after telling her I cannot come in on those days. I got an appointment for a day I could come in and it was for 2pm. I waited 15 minutes in my car as they finished, fine. I went in had some X-rays and a picture taken of the area needed to be filled(the tiniest chip.) and when the dentist came in he went on and on how I clearly don’t floss and I could floss but I probably just don’t do it right or how he shamed me for a good 10 minutes talking very loudly about my teeth and when I tried to explain the situation that was caused by a former dentist I no longer go to he said no you don’t understand and talked over me trying to say it’s because I don’t floss or brush my teeth, which is disgusting and I do both. I made it clear I did not want to wait to have my tooth fixed as it’s happened in that same spot 7 years ago, he said I’m prone to getting that tooth broken, ha! 7 year difference in chips and I’m prone. I’m very disappointed as I had to reschedule an appointment 2 1/2 weeks out so they could fix my tooth because the appointment that was next was already there and “couldn’t wait” I’ve had a few fillings and I can say they’ve never taken more than 10-15 mins and the fact it took that long to even see me and get me in the building but someone else couldn’t wait is ridiculous. I will not be returning and found someone else to fix it much sooner and for less than $307.00. I’m very disappointed in this company and their ethics, it’s not about your time or your teeth health it’s about the money they make off of your pain or your feelings. The dentist had the audacity to say “you can barely even see it” well good for you! I’m glad you can’t see it, but I have to look at it everyday you don’t. I’m sure if it was the dentist it would be a different story.
