Court Square Dentistry

Great dentists, frustrating reception staff. I set an appointment one month in advance and told them I switched insurance. They told me they would look into that closer to the date. I was called 3 times over the coming weeks asking to move my appointment up, which I declined. One day prior, I was called to confirm I would be coming in, and that was all. 30 minutes prior to my appointment, they told me to come in 15 minutes early because they couldn’t confirm my insurance info. At my appointment, they informed me they weren’t sure I was covered under their plan, and it would take up to 15 days to confirm. When I said I wish they told me this ahead of time, I was told that it was my mistake for not informing the receptionist on the call the day before that I switched insurance (I had told her during my first call to set up the appointment, she never asked in any subsequent call). I was then told I was wasting their time, so I left. It’s a shame because the dentists here are so fantastic.

AVOID. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed here. After 3 days, the pain & swelling started to increase so I called CSD on day 4 to ask for some guidance on what to do. The receptionist relayed the dentists reply - "everything seems normal." 2 days later, in blinding pain, I raced to the Flushing ER. A long day of blood tests, CT scans & semi-barbaric oral surgery. Every RN & Oral Surgeon I spoke to all said the same thing, there's nothing "normal" about the pain & swelling increasing after 3 days. The surgeon told me that this abscess could've been 'life-threatening" and he was glad that I came in when i did.
So my overall take on CSD is that they were really great at keeping my appointment$ booked, following up on booking new appointment$ and making sure that they alway$ had work to do on my teeth. But when it came down to giving me guidance outside of their bu$ine$$ model, they failed me terribly.

Dr. Ian is a great dentist, I have been coming to him for years and have not had any complaints. I have gotten teeth cleaning, filling and cavities done with Dr. Ian, he is knowledgeable and extremely professional. The practice is also run very smoothly, and the offices are nice and clean.

All the women here are very informative and helpful in answering my questions and concerns. I switched to Court Square after going to my previous dentist for years, and it was shocking to learn how a dentist office SHOULD function and treat it's patients! Lisbeth always makes me feel welcome when I arrive for an appointment. I appreciate how Doctor Heather showed and explained my x-rays (something my previous dentist oddly never did), and described what she was doing during a procedure. Thank you guys :)

Great staff and great dentist, all professionals that help and assist you during all the process, from the insurance,accounting phase and to the work that you need.
Just got a RC+ crown, great experience, from the beginning.
Mr.Ian and Maria worked very well, no pain and constant follow up after it.

Great ambient, clean and with good ambient music.
In case you want, you can also watch netflix or similar.

The entire staff is super friendly and inviting. From reminders before my appointments to accommodating my needs- they are super helpful, they make me feel right at home. Rooms have Netflix and Hulu so I like to put Family Guy while I get my teeth cleaned. I feel like my dentist here really cares about my teeth, always gives me great advice and I consider her my friend now! After 2 years coming here, i will continue for sure!

Dr. Jamil made my first visit so great. She is super kind and so thorough with her work. I really appreciated how she took the time to go over my x-rays in detail. She answered all my questions and even talk to get to know me. She practices with great empathy and made my visit super enjoyable!

I never write reviews but feel the need to because Kelly is a truly masterful hygienist. She is a magical combination of gentle, thorough, precise, friendly, professional, and super knowledgable. She always takes the time to explain things and is always aware of your comfort (seriously she even put some balm on my lips so they didn’t dry out too much while she was working). I have always hated going to the dentist for cleanings and I now truly actually enjoy them. HIGHLY recommend!

All the staff (from Reception to the dentist) are great. The way they deal with my daughter and myself is amazing. I dislike going to see a dentist but they always put me at ease and I can’t recommend them highly enough!

I always had fear of Dentists all my life until I met Dr. Kolonda . He made sure I was comfortable and that wasn’t easy but he managed.
I also brought my Grandson James go to see Dr. Kolonda .James was happy also since the last Dentist was terrible .
The Staff is very professional and very nice . I would definitely recommend court Square Dental 😊
