I moved to the F-M area about 6 months ago, and do not yet have dental insurance. I broke a tooth and it was bothering me, so I decided I needed to find a dentist. I had a traumatic dental experience as a child, and have hated going to the dentist ever since. The staff at Dakota Smiles made me feel comfortable, and did not chastise me for the length of time since I had seen a dentist. They were able to make a "temporary" fix and allow me to wait until my insurance starts to make a more permanent decision about what to do.

*UPDATE: I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I had a medical emergency recently, which resulted in my two front teeth getting knocked out. Dr. Charles went out of his way to cut his weekend short and fit me in to get things taken care of. I'm truly awestruck by the care and compassion they have for their clients. I'll never go to another dentist.
Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. They were up front with pricing, and worked with my insurance so I didn't have to jump through hoops!

I love Dakota Smiles. I have been seeing Dr. Charles and Heather the Hygienist for years, and this is why: No nagging. No scolding. No lectures. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They give me information about better oral practices, but they are respectful and friendly. And here is another HUGE thing that I love about them: they give you an estimate of what your dental work will cost, and for me, it has always been accurate. They are also extremely good at dealing with insurance. I have recommended Dakota Smiles to lots of people, and even though it is a trek for me to get over there, I go there because they are the best dentist office I have ever been to, hands down.

I chipped my tooth and when I called my regular dental office on a Thursday a.m., they were closed until the following Monday. Dr Stacey was able to get me in within an hour, did a new filling and was sympathetic to previous experiences with pain/numbness. They were very informative throughout the the procedure and they just gained a new patient going forward!

Who actually says they love going to the dentist? I do! Heather and Dr. Charles are not only great at what they do, but are super friendly and make me laugh every time I'm there. They're totally honest about what work needs to be done and what can probably wait...and don't make me feel like a jerk when they have to strongly suggest that I wear my mouth guard at night. :) My daughter and I have been going there for many years now and I would absolutely never change!

Got me in the next day to fix my permanent retainer. $85 for a limited exam and $210 for the grinding and glue. The glue is smooth and not as bothersome as the original glue on the other side! Very nice building and very clean. Would recommend.

Extremely competent and kind!!!!! Dr Stacey did an amazing job at reattaching a crown that is only 4 yrs old and has popped off 3 times. My regular dentist is closed on Fridays. Dr. Stacey took the time to do it right.

The Dakota Smiles staff has been so wonderful, from the front desk to the hygienist, to Dr Charles who has spent years fixing my damaged teeth. I get to celebrate today as it is my last scheduled, major treatment. Thank you for all you do!!!
