Dr. Dennis Holly and his staff are top notch. They are honestly the best dental practice I’ve ever been a patient of. After moving back home from Denver, CO I needed my routine cleaning. That was a great experience in itself. Then I always worried about the bonding done about 20 years ago to fill a gap between my two front teeth. Dr. Holly simply said I can take care of that in 15 minutes. I was shocked to hear that I’ve been worrying for the past few years that the bonding between my two front teeth was going to one day just come undone yet this Dentist could fix that worry in 15 minutes…..Well he did and literally in 15 minutes! It was incredible. Then my wife had a similar issue, but her dentist was recommending full veneers on her two front teeth that was going to cost around $2,500 out of pocket. I told her to go see Dr. Holly for a “second opinion.” Well see called and got in to see him the next day and he fixed her two front teeth in less than an hour. The kicker… He did it free! Wow, this guy is amazing. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else (especially for the fact he was working on both our front teeth- the biggest thing one sees when you smile). I called the staff to thank them for the help and they replied with, “your wife is awesome!” What a well-run practice; Friendly, Family and Community Orientated, Honest, Excellent, the list of positive adjectives to modify Dr. Holly and his staff is endless. Thank you for all you do! On another note and something that is rarely mentioned and hard for dental professional to do: You know when you’re at the dentist and they ask you tons of questions while they are working in your mouth? Don’t you hate it when you’re trying to answer those questions…. I had an outstanding experience with Dr Holly and everyone I interacted with at his office.
A crown cracked and broke away so my first experience with him was one where I wasn't established as a patient (yet) and I needed an appointment very quickly. They squeezed me in right away on Monday to assess the situation and Wednesday the job was completed. The technology he uses makes the experience far better than the past. I didn't need to gag while impressions were being made as modern digital imaging was used instead. I cannot believe how painlessly, precisely, and promptly everything was done. He is now my go-to dentist for everything going forward. I highly recommend him to anyone

West River Dental is located in downtown Bend, Oregon. Dr. Holly and his staff are kind and curtious with top-of-the-line equipment.
Basic teeth cleaning is comparable with other dentists, but their procedures and associated technology is what makes this clinic a must.
Dr. Holly informed me of a crack in my tooth that he recommended needed a 3/4 crown to avoid shattering in the future. His staff ran my insurance so tyat I would know exactly how much I would be paying before I agreed to proceed which was very helpful to me.
During the procedure itself, he numbed my mouth with 'The Wand' which is so painless that I thought he was just taking pictures of my mouth for the procedure.
He did take 3D photos of my mouth and teeth, made edits to my new tooth through a computer program, and then made my ceramic crown onsite in less than 20 minutes with their CEREC machine. They matched my tooth color and the crown fit so perfectly, I cannot tell you which tooth they worked on.
I would recommend this clinic to anyone trying to find a new dentist or those that may fear pain in procedures or fear needles.

I don't recommend getting 2 crowns in one week, but if you must, West River Dental is the place. Minimal discomfort and task completed in one appointment due to their significant investment in technology. They can image your tooth, created the design with there in house CAD system, and send to a lathe across the hall, to create the crown in one seamless step. No more sending to the lab, wearing a temporary for 2 weeks, etc. However the greatest attribute of Dr. Holly and his staff, is they walk you through what is about to happen ever step of the way. Nothing reducing anxiety more than knowledge. I have 3 more crowns to go and am looking forward to getting across the street to buy more used record albums, while they create my next crown.
