I would not recommend this office. We were hit with a $1,000 bill after my husband was asked to come back for two additional cleaning visits on top of a routine cleaning. Despite being told that we were in network with the front desk, we were later informed that we weren’t. We were never made aware of the huge out of pocket cost we would be facing. We paid this, as we figured we should have also called our insurance to double check. Then, after re-confirming that we were in network on a new insurance plan, he went back for a routine check up. Then we got another $100 bill, apparently this visit was coded as periodontal maintenance, rather than routine cleaning. Again, we were not told up front that the service was anything other than a routine check up that should be covered by insurance. Communication and transparency at this office is terrible. It definitely seems like a money grab. We’ll be moving on to another office that pre-authorizes insurance and is clear about cost of care.

I’ve been a patient at Distinctive Dentistry for 10+ years. My experiences have always been positive with Dr. George and her professional staff. I was a previous patient of Dr. Campbell as well. I recently called with an issue with my retainer (from another dentist) and was able to get in in a short time. They went over and above to help rectify the situation.
