Sandy Family Dentistry

I have tried to get an appointment for over a year now with no luck. My family gets to be seen here but they obviously don't have room for me. They should not call themselves a family dentistry if they won't accept appointments for everyone in a family.

Always friendly and helpful. Best dentist I could ever go to does great work. The people that greet you and the people that take you back are awesome.

Very friendly and thorough. They do a great job of keeping the scheduled time to not be sitting in the lobby for long periods of time.

One of the best dental practices I've ever been to. The hygienists are amazing and inform you of what they're doing as they go. The Dentist himself is outstanding!

There are not enough words to describe how fantastic of a person Dr. Conklin is. My kid smacked a tree with his teeth in a sledding accident recently. He did some extensive damage to his top teeth and gums... more than what the ER could deal with. We were referred to an oral surgeon. Unfortunately, it was now Sunday morning and there's not a lot of skilled oral surgeons on a Sunday. We would have to wait til Monday... at some point in the day when they could fit my kid into their schedule.
Parents back me up here, if your kid has a big hurt like that, you will do anything in your power to make that go away, quickly. My wife tried frantically to find some help for him. In a Hail Mary pass, she reached out to our kids dentist. Dr Conklin met us at his office between meetings (on his day of rest) because he knew how important our kids wellness was to us.
He and his staff took a situation that seemed completely out of control and brought order to it. He restored my kids smile, and brought peace to a couple very worried parents.
We are forever grateful for this man's kind heart, and will be recommending Sandy Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a dentist.

This place is the best! They take care of you

My visit went great. Dr Conklin was able to make repairs ro my broken tooth that alleviated the problem. Fast, efficient and painless.

Everyone was super friendly, and they did a fantastic job cleaning/ x-ray my teeth. Definitely would recommend

Well I've always been polite and forthcoming with my issues if anxiety with the damage done from the traumatic experience s in my hometown Sacramento CA. I arrived to be near family and regain confidence and start anew. Dereck and team were professional , seemed understanding with some missed appointments with . situation. Living in a rural are I had allot if issues such as no transportation, no support in too of feeling so frustrated from self efficient and no a victim. I had memory loss, anxiety and depression . As soon as most of the work was done and money ($2900)from my uncle who is from Sandy and over70, bless his heart . I had pain in jaw and ears , felt miserable, but had to wait a week. With no antibiotics pain relief I became so nauseas I couldn't move my head. So calling was out of the picture , let alone get up slept 18 hrs . The apt I set was after urgent care said .y dentist would have to treat . Especially since it appeared that my bite knocked out ten fillings uppers and lower. So Monday I was disturbed before calling to reschedule how are it's the two hours after my appointment a letter was made to cancel my service. My apiintment held up only the Dr who was booked back to back to view and access within a five to ten min maybe conversation. . No one called or asked me if I was running late. Perhaps given where I started over the past year , and now where I am currently you'd think I'd be scheduled sooner since I mentioned the pain. But after a week it was most likely I'd be worse off . I would warn anyone with unfortunate circumstances to not depend on this establishment to have pathy ir understanding is non bias piont of view because u felt the treatment as a person changed once I showed my family could pay for the high out pocket expense versus my county dental care. The work and skill set of Dereck and assistant were five star . But a few times I felt some conversation were had between co workers that were not necessary and you can't help but wonder if they have no understanding if what it's like to loose everything and be injured and feel judged. Rainn a supportive group has taught me to speak out and women, people are not alone and how most people judge mental illness thereafter.
