I had the best experience with Palmetto Smiles. Everyone at the office can tell you I had severe anxiety on my first visit because of past trauma. Because I didn't visit a dentist for a decade, my teeth were not in great shape, but everyone was so understanding and not judgmental at all. Dr Bale and Elizabeth are wonderful!! Can't recommend enough. I'm not afraid of the dentist anymore :)

I felt at ease from the very first phone call I made to Palmetto Smiles. Brenda answered my call and made an appointment for me to see Dr. Campbell the very next day. One of my crowns had become unseated and I did not yet have a dentist in the Charleston area. I had been putting off the task of establishing myself with a dental office, because I was afraid of ending up being unhappy with my choice and having to bounce around in search of what I was looking for. During my visit Dr. Campbell, Shari, and Perri were all very attentive and made me feel comfortable and in very good hands. Everyone in the office took time to smile and speak to me. I learned some things about my teeth and dental health that I didn't know (and I Google everything! :) I am so happy I found the right dental office. Thank you everyone at Palmetto Smiles for being exactly the kind of dental office that I was hoping to find. I made my decision to call Palmetto Smiles because of their rating & reviews - I read through each review, and knew they were written by real people. I was looking for any clue that someone pumped out a lot of glowing but fake write-ups.) I believe we all have a responsibility to recommend excellence when we find it - and that is what I am doing. :)

Went back again. It is so relaxing. They treat you like no other dentist staff.

I've never liked going to a dentist. I've had bad experiences with most. Palmetto smile and my last dentist downtown are great. I would highly recommend both of them

Kind, caring, and professional dental team. I’ve interacted with several team members over the years and I have nothing but good things to say. They provide thorough cleanings, preventative education, and they have personally provided me with filings and a crown. It’s important who you choose when it comes to giving you pain and/or relief - I put my trust in Dr. Campbell and his staff. I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Bale and his entire staff for the understanding and care they took when treating my daughter at her recent visit. After going through a very traumatic dental experience when she was younger, going to the dentist even for a cleaning has always been very stressful but at PALMETTO SMILES OF CHARLESTON, she was treated with patience, loving kindness and made to feel at complete ease the entire visit. We have found her new dentist for LIFE!! A very special thank you to Angie, Crystal, Laura and Dr. Bale. This entire team ROCKS!!!! Thank you all for everything you did in making sure that the visit was a success!!!

Prayed for doctor Campbell ended up with Dr. Bale! If the stars were based on hospitality alone it would be 5 everyone was friendly and amazing. I am a struggling citizen like anyone else I paid sooo much money out of pocket to have services done here only to find out my insurance carrier was dropped mid treatment and find out 6 months later my root canal was improperly done now suffering from it financially and physically. I definitely believe that the Bale and dental hygienist made me really uncomfortable how much they were interacting with each other while operating wanted them to just stop and focus on my teeth! also took me like 6 shots to go fully numb. Honestly just wish I kept fighting the pain before I even went here.

Palmetto Smiles is all about making sure you are seen on time and that you are comfortable while you are in the chair. They are very accommodating and all the staff seem happy to see you. Dr. Campbell is an excellent dentist and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending him.

Everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable. As a child I had very negative experiences with the dentist. I am confident I can get through any procedure now that I have met Dr Julian and his awesome staff. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

Everyone at North Charleston Smiles is very kind and made my checkup & cleaning a delightful experience. I had a very thorough cleaning and afterwards my dentist walked me through a painless exam, and was patient enough to answer all the questions I had. I will definitely be paying another visit in six months and would highly recommend their services for people of all ages.
