I had a wonderful experience at Tennessee Family Dental. As a part-time teacher without insurance, I hadn't been to the dentist in a couple of years and I went in with serious concerns about my teeth. I was treated with kindness and respect, and I felt like a priority the entire time I was there. They were honest with me about my health, took the time to help me understand my situation, and worked with me to develop an affordable and realistic plan of action. Everyone I met with was patient, attentive, generous (they gifted me a couple of minor fillings!) and knowledgable. I left feeling confident about how I'd spent my money, and happy about the look and feel of my fixed teeth. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been to this place three times. The first two times, they were great. First time had tooth pulled, second time fitted for bridge..amazing experience. Front desk people were welcoming and extremely nice each visit, even the dreaded third visit. Third time was awful. Each visit was with a different hygienist and doc, no problem because they were very competent until the third time. The hygienist tried to remove my actual teeth instead of my temporary bridge...note actual teeth were upper, bridge was on bottom. I had to make her stop pulling. After that she asked me if I thought I needed numbing. Uhmm, I don’t know, do I? I’ve never had this done before. PS, I needed numbing. Each time they removed the bridge to adjust it, I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my teeth and jaw. And they removed it a lot. Grinding and grinding until anymore grinding would have made the bridge too thin and caused a hole...so then the dentist asked if he could grind down my perfectly fine upper teeth so the bridge would work. Which, I found out was probably not a good thing. They should have sent the bridge back to be redone according to my new dentist. The dentist kept asking how my bite felt after each grind and reinsertion and it felt off which I kept said, but was assured I’d just have to get used to it. Nope, according to my new dentist it’s just wearing down my actual teeth. So, I’m giving them three stars because I did have good experiences there but I won’t ever go back because I’m pretty sure this bridge is going to be replaced not even 6 months after it was originally done.

The team here is excellent. I have never waited long and I’m always welcomed with a smile. The facility is clean and well maintained.

Nobody wants to go to the dentist but when you do, it’s nice to have a great team like Tennessee Family Dental in Nipper’s Corners.

LOVE Tennessee Family Dental. Dr. O'Neill is fantastic and his staff is very kind and friendly. I never have to wait long at all. I've had 2 cleanings, cavities filled AND my wisdom teeth out there and I've never had a problem. Definitely recommend Dr. O'Neill and his staff!

I know the dentist isn't everyone's favorite place, but I enjoy my visits to TN Family Dental. All of the staff are nice and caring and make you feel welcome like a friend. Love having Mikaela as my Hygienist!

I can't say enough how much I love this staff as a whole. I've had two extractions, and a cleaning so far, and I literally feel as though I've found "dentistry gold"! They are literally the nicest, most professional, and competent practice I've had the pleasure of meeting. My extractions, *which should have been brutal*, were completely pain free, and healed with no issue. The dental assistants, hygienists, and Dr. O'Neill were happy to answer all of my questions, and they did so with a kind and patient nature. Soon after my first visit, Jenny patched me up with medication to relieve dry socket, and she did it so quickly, I didn't feel a thing! On another occasion, I went in to have my extraction site examined to ensure proper healing, and saw Dr. Manny- he was super kind, and reassured me that all was well. There is also a third Dr. that examined me shortly after my extraction, and he was super professional, with a caring demeanor. I have sensitive teeth, and Jennifer performed a pain free cleaning, while speaking to any concerns I might still have. The front desk staff is personable and warm via telephone, and in person. These folks have magic hands and hearts of GOLD! I'm never, ever, EVER leaving. Make your way down to Nippers Corner, and experience dental heaven....trust me- you're seriously missing out if you don't. ;)

Had a great experience here today. Everyone was very nice and professional. My appointment was on time and I received excellent care. I don’t write many reviews, but I felt so comfortable and well cared for, that I wanted to share. I’m new to the area and this was my first visit. They were very thorough and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I can finally say I have found a dentist that I absolutely love! I’ve had the worst experience everywhere else, but Dr. Harris and his team have been the best! I can’t say thank you enough! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist!

I went in nervous for the first time and I left wanting them to be my primary dentists. I was very worried about my wisdom teeth and they were prompt with the X-ray and a plan of action afterward. They were very attentive to my comfort and telling me what they were going to do before they did it. This is the first positive experience I've had at a dentist so far. Thank you
