Went in for routine appointment and it was suggested to have a tooth filled based on a shadow on an xray to prevent further damage (when there was no pain or visible signs of decay). Upon filling it, I was informed I'd probably need a root canal... then surprise I ended up needing one. Paid around $100 for a filling, then another $1500 for root canal. 6 months after procedure, still experienceing problems. Peer review deemed procedure as "clincally acceptable". For $1600 I expected better than clinically acceptable. I was also presured to get a credit card to pay for whole procedure up front after being told I could make payments. Pressured because if you make payments you have to pay finance charges even after being a loyal patient for years. Very disappointed.
