Art of Dentistry

Just recently moved to the area and I was experiencing jaw pain. Dr Lopez was extremely thorough and kind. He easily figured out it wasn't dental pain and was most likely a sinus infection. He was correct. Dr Lopez is now our family dentist and we couldn't be happier with him and his staff.

So, I came to this office in October 2018 for a cleaning. I am new to Ooltewah. At that appointment, I was advised of the need for deeper treatment, but they could not schedule me until 5 weeks later. No cleaning completed.

The new appointment was the week of Thanksgiving 2018 and the second appointment to complete the treatment was made for the week after.

Then, unfortunately, I needed to reschedule the appointment the week of Thanksgiving. I was advised by Ms. Dominguez that both November appointments would need to be rescheduled. So, I could not get another set of back to back weekly appointments until January 2019.

Today was the first appointment for January 2019.

I got a call 10 minutes after the appointment time from their office saying I needed to reschedule due to their 10 minute window for arrival policy. I told Ms. Dominguez that I was on the street of the office and would be pulling up any minute. She said that did not matter, and I would have to reschedule.

IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS SINCE MY FIRST APPOINTMENT. THEY RECOMMENDED THE ADDITIONAL TREATMENT. THEY NEED 5 - 8 WEEKS TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS. BUT, BECAUSE I AM RUNNING 10 MINUTES LATE THERE IS NOT WAY TO COMPLETE A TREAMENT THAT THEY SAID NEEDED AN HOUR TO 90 MINUTES??

I asked to speak to the office manager and to the dentist once I arrived. I was told that neither was available. Working people schedule these appointments. (You have to have a job to afford the dentist.) I wasted three different days and work time trying to get my teeth cleaned at this office.

These people are clearly popular and don't need my business. My time was not valued or respected, as 10 minutes of waiting on their part is apparently the equivalent of 3 months of waiting on my part.

Off to find another dentist. You should do yourself a favor and find an office who values new patients in terms of time and money!

Dr Lopez was Awesome I was really nervous about seeing a dentist, it has been a while. Dr Lopez and his staff at Art of Dentistry made me comfortable and relaxed and answered my many questions as I got my teeth cleaned, my teeth feels great and my teeth look whiter. Excellent experience with awesome follow-up. Dr. Lopez was attentive and thoughtful in how to treat my case. It is the first-time in my life I don't dread going to the dentist. Ooltewah is blessed to have this service so close to home.

I recently moved to the area from upstate New York and finding a new dentist was not something I looked forward to. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and knowledgeable staff at the Art of Dentistry in Ooltewah. The dental hygienists and Dr Lopez took time to explain what they were doing and what they had found during the examination and cleaning. I would recommend the Art of Dentistry to friends and family.

Art of Dentistry is definitely the place to go for all your dental needs! Great homey environment and a staff that makes you feel welcome. You can place your confidence in Dr. Lopez and know that you will not be disappointed. Would recommend to all my friends and anyone who is looking for excellent service!

Absolutely love Angela. She is so sweet and attentive. She made going to the dentist nonintimidating. Dr.Lopez is great as well and very kind! I would highly recommend going here.

Awesome dentist! Staff takes their time with you to make you feel comfortable. Very up to date equipment and make each visit better than the last. They have the ability to do a multitude of ortho procedures above teeth cleanings and typical dentist operations.

I had an excellent experience at Art of Dentistry. I had a wisdom tooth pulled by Dr. Lopez and it was extremely comfortable. I've had teeth pulled before at other places and was not excited when I had a wisdom tooth come in late. Dr. Lopez was by far the best! I was nervous going in, but everything went very well, I would highly recommend them!

Great dental experience all the way around. Greeted at the door by name. Had to wait very little before being taken back. Thought I would be toothless for my birthday, but Dr. Lopez took care of me. He went to extra trouble to temporarily reglue my cap until the partial came in from the lab. And when the partial came in, Dr. Lopez did not rush making adjustments even though I had to be worked into an already busy schedule. Definitely am glad I changed dentists and started going to Art of Dentistry.

X-rays and cleaning experience was so much better than others I have used in the past. I used to hate having x-rays made, but Art of Dentistry uses equipment which made this a lot better. Everyone there definitely focuses on the little things to make going to the dentist as good as possible.
