After a rough start dealing with trying to prove I had insurance, it worked out in the end. I can’t leave a bad review the 2nd time, so here’s a new one. Everyone is very nice, professional and conscientious of any fears of pain you may have with overly sensitive teeth. I recommend this company when you want top care. That’s is my experience. Good job, guys(gals)!

I’m someone who loves going to the dentist but I really don’t like going to this dentist. The people checking you in are kind enough although it bothers me how pushy they can be about asking (and asking again) you to schedule treatments. That aside, my main issue is how frantic and busy it always feels. You don’t feel like you’re being listened to or taken care of. I’ll repeat the problem over and over to various techs and finally when the dentist comes in, it’s as if no one was listening or conveyed the message. One time I made an appointment for a cleaning and to speak with the dentist about a few things but was discharged without even seeing her because she was too busy. I’ve never had a tooth cleaning after which they dentist didn’t come see me and wrap things up. Maybe I was spoilt at other places and this is the norm? At another appointment I shared that a previous dentist and Endodontist had recommended a root canal on a tooth and asked for a referral (had just moved from another state and because of covid didn’t get a chance to fix it before moving). I felt dismissed when the dentist said that likely wasn’t the issue and more likely it was a bite issue. I actually appreciated that, because she wanted to take a conservative approach first, but the way she went about it was very dismissive of all those who had evaluated the tooth before her and of my specific complaints. Anyway, I ended up getting a root canal three weeks later, after the bite adjustment didn’t do anything, and am now pain free. As a physician I know the importance of listening to your patients and of feeling heard. I just don’t think they do that well here.

Odd to say this about a visit to the dentist, but I really enjoyed it! The hygienist was pleasant, gentle AND thorough ( sorry I didn’t get her name), and Dr Pundya did a great job checking my teeth, but what I truly appreciated was her patience and expertise in explaining what was happening with my teeth - along with my options.

I very rarely write reviews, but I had such an incredible experience at Forest Family that I had to leave one! Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk was very accommodating and patient while I struggled to get my insurance information together and Marissa and Valerie were some of the friendliest, sweetest, most genuine people I have met in a long time. I was truly blown away. As long as I am in Austin, I will be going to Forest Family. I seriously could not recommend them more highly.

Just wow amazing experience! Went here and saw Dr. Rick again (my favorite) had another awesome experience. I was hit as a pedestrian by a car this Wednesday which knocked out my beautiful bridge :/and Dr. Rick made time to see me the very next day! :D I reccomend Forest Family to everyone and tell them about the service being absolutely exceptional. Very friendly staff. Dr. Rick will quickly become your friend, and lead you to the best treatment plan. Really liked the state of the art equipment, ceiling netflix, and the appointment process (such as being able to submit ALL forms online). Kudos to this establishment.
