Updated review: I went to Luxadent on two different occasions for cleanings. The wait time is astronomically long. I waited 1 hour on my first visit. For context, I’ve never waited longer than 10 minutes at my new dentist.
In addition to the wait time, I always felt the staff was trying to up sell me. When it’s obvious is when it’s bad. I was never sure of what was being recommended was actually needed or not.
But the reason why I am leaving this review is for the dental hygienist, if I can even call her that. I am an adult with braces. I know it’s unusual but I am not the first adult patient with braces to walk through the door. The moment I smiled and she saw I had braces she sighed and told me how much longer it was going to take because I had braces. The entire time she cleaned, she complained about my braces in fact. I happened to be sore that day and reminded her several times, she kept hurting the heck out of my mouth. All around I found her behavior unprofessional.
Lastly, the entire office staff speaks Spanish whenever they are not directly talking to a patient. They’ll even talk in Spanish in the room with a patient while talking To each other about the patient. I am Hispanic and I speak Spanish so I understood what was being said but I find it unprofessional to speak a language in a room with a patient/customer/client that can’t understand, especially when talking about them and their healthcare needs.

I went to Luxadent for my annual review and I was attended by Doctor Tomei, which was amazing with the service. He is very kind and attentive, very patient with me and all the questions I had. He was not pushy as other doctors. He was honest with the job that I need explained me all the procedures and clarify all my concerns. Totally recommend him and his staff; very friendly and professional

He is the sweetest and most professional Dentist I have ever met in my life!! Thank you so much for helping me with my horrible toothache and my fears!!
