So happy I came to this place. I’ve been looking for a dentist for a very long time. Dr. Obitayo and her team make you feel at home. Very nice and professional. I definitely recommend Mission Bend Family Dentistry.

Super awesome team at Mission Bend Family Dentistry! Everyone I met was welcoming, friendly, and reassuring, just to name a few of their great qualities. Dr. O and her team were informative as I was walked through every process and never felt out of the loop. A caring practice I would visit again and definitely recommend.

My wife and I, we are happy and lucky to live only 3 minutes from Mission Bend Dentistry. Dr. Obitayo is a very sweet, professional and dedicated dentist. She takes time to explain to us the choice of all options with different financial charges. Also her dental assistants are very courteous, skillful and nice people. The front desk lady is sweet, informative and professional.

My experience with Dr O, the new dentist replacing Dr Edward, was excellent. She is very nice, sweet and friendly. She get the work done quick and successfully.

I would like to have some input regarding my appointment on Sep 8th, 2020:
I have been told by the hygienist that she is using the new technique for cleaning which I am not very happy compared to the old technique: "less manual scaling, no polishing and flossing and more water spraying"

I LOVE this place! The staff is SO friendly, and dr. Oditayo is so professional. I had a fear of visiting the dentist as a child, but doctor and her staff are very gentle and make you feel comfortable.

Customer service was amazing. Dr. Obitayo, was kind, and very informative. The office is clean and the staff is very pleasant. Im sending all of my friends and family to Mission Bend Family Dentistry.

This dentistry was very professional and polite. All the employees there were very kind and caring. They also did a great job on my teeth and also cared for my well being.

Best dental office in Richmond hands down . Ive had to have some extensive dental work done( multiple root canals within 3 months ) and the office has did everything to take care of me especially with me having to pay out of pocket . If you feel any pain , they will stop the procedure and make sure you are comfortable. They are very personal yet professional. If you choose DR. O and her staff , you are definitely in great care 💜

Everyone at MBD is personable and professional in addressing my immediate needs and concerns. Dr Edwards is THE dentist that everyone is hoping to find - knowledgeable, skilled, and attentive. The clinic is modern and patient friendly, all ages. Very fortunate to have found this Dental Clinic.

My friend referred me to this place. I have had the same Dentist for 15 plus years. I switched jobs and my regular Dentist does not take my new insurance. I came to Mission Bend and overall the place was clean and the staff was friendly. The dental hygienist wasn't as thorough as I would have liked her to be but it wasn't a deal breaker. My rating is based off Dr Obitayo recommendations. I came in for my 6 month cleaning. The Dentist never stuck my teeth with the utensil that most Dentist use to stick your teeth and look for soft spots. She just looked at the scans on the screen and said I had 7 cavities and told me some one would come in the room and discuss pricing and scheduling. I did not think the info she provided was accurate. I had my teeth cleaned/ annual check up in Feb of 2020 and was not told of any cavities. Then in April or May of 2020 I went to get a consultation for braces and they look for cavities etc and that Dentist never mentioned any cavities. So here it is September 2020 and all of sudden I got 7 cavities . I politely took her recommendation and requested a copy of the scans that they did on my teeth and I sent that info to my regular Dentist ( Dr. Daniel Markham) and another Dental office (Tippit Dental in Cypress) that I visited a few times and neither seen any cavities on the Scans from Mission Bend. I then paid out of pocket to see my regular Dentist in person as he advised maybe the cavities just weren't visible on the scans. He looked over my teeth in person and said my teeth were great and that I had NO Cavities! He then explained to me that this was the reason he no longer take dental insurance because a Dentist literally has to find something wrong with your teeth in order to get paid.

Update: Dr Obitayo reached out to me after my original post and advised me that she stands by her recommendation. She sent me photos of my teeth and circled what she felt like were considered cavities. She explained that some Dentist do not consider cavities a cavity until it reaches a certain size. I appreciated her reaching out and explaining her findings.
