Spearmint Dental & Orthodontics - Wichita Falls

I recently went into Spearmint with a lot of tooth pain. I was blown away with how accommodating they were and how quickly they took care of my issue. I was in and out in no time and will continue to be a patient of Dr. Garrett’s!!

Professional and courteous staff, everyone was very gentle and understanding of my fears and pain level and they're already getting my treatment plan started.
I definitely recommend.

This is hard. I thought about not sharing, however, since reviews are meant to be used to help others make decisions, I've decided to share. We are a military family and I often use Google to find new services when we move. I LOVE to see real reviews! I don't intend for my review to be mean and I definitely am not trying to damage Spearmint Dental's name. This is just MY experience.

My kids and I were seen during the Summer of 2018 for our routine 6mth. The staff was super nice and very inviting. The hygienist was very kind and did a great job. Unfortunately, Dr. Garrett wasn't very pleasant. He walked in and didn't speak, he didn't give us any feedback, and he walked out the exam room without ever discussing anything with me about my kids and I exam.

I know everyone is different, and I didn't expect for him to act like our new bff. However, as a professional I did expect some type of verbal exchange. But, who knows..maybe he was just having one of those days.

Although that was a little strange, what hit me the most was our final "report" from our hygienist once Dr. Garrett left the room. I was told that three of my boys had multiple cavities. I was a little confused because they were just seen 6mths ago and everything was fine. But, I'm not a dentist. Maybe cavities can happen in between visit. Maybe it's normal. I decided not to make an appointment that day. After thinking about it for a couple days, I decided not to continue our care with Spearmint Dental because of how "uneasy" I was feeling. BEST DECISION EVER!!!

After more research and digging I decided to try Smartmouth Dental(check them out) for our next 6mth. The staff was super friendly and kind(just like the ladies from Spearmint) and Dr. Johnson was very kind and helpful. In more great news, all of my boys checked out just fine. NO cavities afterall.

It is safe to say are Smartmouth patients now!

I’m very dental phobic but the staff and Dr. Garrett made me has comfortable as possible. 3 teeth removed on emergency basis. Very satisfied with the quality of care I received.

My dentist retired so I thought I would try Spearmint Dental based on other reviews I read here. I was not disappointed. Everyone was so nice and professional from Dr. Berriche to the women in the front office who explained my payment options and helped with setting up my next appointment. I have always been anxious going to the dentist, but they all really helped to put me at ease. Highly recommend.

Colbie and Julia and all the staff at Spearmint Dental did a wonderful job. From cleaning my teeth to making me feel comfortable here. Thank you very much also to Dr. Garrett.
