I had to go in for an emergency root canal / crown. They were flexible in getting me in, which was probably the best part of the entire experience. The root canal went fine, but the temporary crown broke 3 times in the span of about a week and a half, even after following strictly to no hard or crunchy foods.

The crown itself looked good, felt good, no problems until about a year and a half in, it's already started to pull down to where I could pull it off.

They call easily 1-2 a month, even after having not been to their office since November 2015.

I discovered in my first visit to All Smiles Family Dentistry that I had developed quite a bit of cavities between my teeth that were not visible. Dr. Furman placed me on a treatment plan and my last appointment involved quite a bit of drilling. However, I can say that it couldn't have been more painless nor more gentle hands could have guided that drill than those of Dr. Furman. Many thanks to her expertise and her kind staff.

My wife scheduled us for an appointment here and i had very high hopes to have all my cavities filled. I was experiencing pain in 3 places only while eating sticky or hard candy....so i hadnt been able to enjoy candy for a long time.

2 days of filling... First day went fast felt fine. One week later went in for an hour of the most painful experience of my life.... We are talking about routine fillings.... I stopped the dentist once because the pain was excruciating during drilling and even during suction... They gave some more pain medicine and after a short break continued on and my pain was the same. I let them continue with the pain because i just needed it done. With three kids at home i dont have a ton of free time.

The results.... I went back in because of tooth pain in the area of one filling. They could not determine the cause redrilled and refilled a one week old filling... Weird right?

2 months later i have pain that is now experienced not only with candy but any hard food. Wow so they made it worse? What did they even do? Im very concerned they actually dont know what they are doing.... My wifes experience at this clinic..... ( even worse) so dissapointing after they seemed friendly and competent.

I was very pleased with how the staff went out of their way to help me! Even gave me tips on how I can save for my next trip. Everything was clean, organized, and taken in consideration of COVID-19, I felt in good hands. Will definitely be coming again.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Furman is a truly talented woman. Not only is she an incredible dentist but an awesome artist. Her paintings are beautiful with rich colors but calming.

The following Technicians were incredible Hitayit: she was friendly, listened to my concerns and was personable.

Anna G. the hygenist was thorough and she applied the topical numbing agent before working on cleaning my teeth since I have high sensitivity due to diabetes.

Anna K. worked the front desk. She was also friendly and helpful and answered my questions.

Family dentistry is such an appropriate name because they make you feel like your family. I am so thankful that I can count on them and trust them.

Thank you Dr. Furman for having an incredible team.

Just now being billed in almost full for services performed over 11 months ago. They claim my insurance never paid. My insurance proved they never sent w-9 form in order to be paid.
Now 11 months later I have to pay over 600$ for their mistake right now, because she needs this cleared up "this week".
Specifically tried reaching anyone else at A.S.D. for help but only get "you owe" emails in response.

Kindly and humbly proved that it was 100% their mistake, I'd still pay whatever that would not have been covered by the insurer.....but now all I get is stonewalled and rude treatment.

Dr Hung didn't work well with my at the time 7 yr old. She had him in the chair 2+ hrs on a pulpit & steel crown that she struggled to place on a pre-molar baby tooth, and then blamed him for getting antsy. They offer no nitrous oxide or any form of sedative anaesthesia here.

But the real kicker was the quality of the work! The crown was the worst anyone in my family has ever had... and we've had tons! There was a massive gap between where the crown base ended and the gum line began. It was sharp and bothersome the entirety of the time it was in his mouth. And quite predictably, due to the gap always allowing food & moisture under the crown, it lifted and came off altogether less than a yr after it was placed. So the tooth had to be pulled anyway, and I had to pay for treatment twice on this one baby tooth.

Even though it was an option at the time, Dr Hung advised against just pulling the tooth and placing a spacer (as happened later anyway) in favor of the pulpit & crown, presumably bc it cost more.

When it fell off we called in, and were told we could pay for it all over again. We never went back, and instead took him to UW Center for Pediatric Dentistry, where we had a much better experience.

If this is still the office of Ilona K. Furman & Wendy Hung then I most definitely have the correct place. If not, please update your answer to reflect whose office it actually is, and I will amend or delete this review. My gut feeling tho, is it's the right office, and perhaps you no longer perform pulpits on children? Due possibly to this and other like experiences.

Update for 2019, still paying off the bill for the dentist who had to complete my root canal because ms furman couldn’t. It’s ridiculous that stuck with two bills for one tooth for two dentists!!! Why did I even pay you for something you didn’t complete.

I had a root canal and a crown done here about 2 months ago and it they maxxed out my insurance that had a limit of $1300.00 on one tooth and on top of that they weren’t even able to complete my root canal in they’re facility and had to stop mid way threw the operation patch me up with a temporary tooth give me an antibiotic prescription and gave me a referral to see another dentist 2 weeks out who charged me $1,500.00 to complete something that i had already paid for with my insurance at all smiles Anyways after i saw the specialist and had my root canal completed i had to be patched up and sent back to all smiles who had to apply the crown which after all that work money and pain still irritates me when i tap on it with anything or press on it with any kind of force. If your on a students budget as i i wouldn’t recommend this place as there is little to no financing options available here other than care credit which denies anyone with out a lengthy credit history. So i paid for one root canal at two dentists.
