Orchard Hills Dentistry

The service at Orchard Hills Dentistry is phenomenal. The staff are very attentive and thorough. I’m someone who is normally pretty anxious about going to the dentist so naturally I was nervous going in my first time but that all quickly dissolved shortly after walking through their doors. My experiences here are always positive but the real star of the show is my amazing hygienist Heather! You will instantly be enticed by her great energy and vivacious personality. Most people will have a hard time showing enthusiasm towards their work after obtaining 25 years of experience under their belt but Heather clearly has a true passion for her profession. She’s my dental guru and always gives the best advice on how to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Before I wrap this up I also want to give a shoutout to Carin at the front desk for being a great communicator. I definitely vouch for this office and their practices. They are all highly skilled professionals who consistently provide outstanding service. (If this review seems a little bias it’s because it is. They’re really that good.)

Orchard Hills is the best! The entire staff is friendly, professional and dedicated to providing top-notch dental care. The massage chairs work my sore muscles while my hygienist provides a mini-massage for my teeth. Seriously, Carrie's cleanings are about as gentle and thorough as can be! I especially appreciate the time Dr. Connell seemingly gives to every patient. You can tell it's important to him to build relationships with his patients, provide thorough exams and discuss treatment options in detail.

We moved to Yakima a few years ago and I've been looking for a dentist and decided to try Orchard Hills. So glad I did! Beautiful office, welcoming reception staff (also very friendly and helpful on the phone), comfortable MASSAGE chairs, and a great hygienist (thanks, Kiley!). I saw Dr. Connell and he was friendly and professional and (unlike my last dentist) didn't try to upsell me on premature fillings. He took time to explain my x-rays and answer questions. Plus, my teeth feel fantastically clean. Bonus: their online portal means you can fill out all the paperwork before you go if you like. So glad I decided to go to Orchard Hills!

From the first time we met, Dr Stephen Connell, has been a highly skilled pro and a kind and gentle hand. That's a big deal and such a selfless guy, he skipped I believe it was his lunch to get my mother in who had broken a tooth on the way over to Yakima for a visit, (she is from Montana) that's just the way Doc is. Couldn't give a higher rating or recommendation with no reservations or hesitation. He also used his deft skills and creativity to help me stave off a root canal that I needed for a couple years, with lesser invasive techniques. I ended up having it done but that 2 years to me was fantastic. Great team comfortable facilities, and they put up with rarely flossers (or as I call it semi occasionally) flossers like me.

I have been under the care of Dr. Connell and his staff ever since he started practicing in Yakima. I cannot say enough how much I fully appreciate this office. I have always had the most excellent care and experience as a patient and I’ve always felt heard and understood when I had concerns. They have been generous with services and were able to get me into “emergency” care quickly. I can also attest to them being totally family friendly. They were ever so gentle and sweet with my son coming in for his first dental visit. I’m so thankful to have this team of professionals in our valley.

This office is truly one of a kind. Dr. Connell and Dr. Young are two of the most genuine and kind dentists I have ever encountered. They care about their patients on a personal level and take time to build relationships with everyone who enters their practice. The staff is top notch and will always greet you with a smile. They are all incredibly gentle, thorough, and make your visit to the dentist actually fun! The dentistry is incredible, I would recommend this office to any friend, family member, or complete stranger. They are passionate about helping people and always doing right by their patients; they will never oversell treatment. This practice is literally the most beautiful dental setting and instantly makes you feel right at home.

This whole office is fantastic! As soon as you walk in the door you feel comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Young and his whole team are very professional, personable, friendly, and thorough. They are easy to work with and always gracious in accommodating our needs and schedules. My kids truly look forward to their dental appointments.

This is the first dental office I've ever fully trusted and stayed with for my family and myself. The facilities, the staff, the care, the level of expertise is truly exceptional. Dr. Connell is honest and highly skilled - caring for his patients with a long-term perspective, which means he won't recommend something if you don't actually need it.
