I had my wisdom teeth out this week on Monday, not fun! Started experiencing some bad pain come Thursday. Gundersen told me what I was experiencing was normal and seemed to blow it off. Still hurting Friday, I was told by Gundersen that sounded like a possible dry socket but they were unable to help me because I oral surgery would have to look at it and they were now out of the office until Monday!!!! Super defeated, vented on facebook...a friend of mine named Jordan Jones saw it who works for River Town Dental reached out to me and said she would reach out to a dentist there and see if they could help me. Dr Randy Moseng and dental assistant Darcy Manske came to the rescue! on a Saturday....for someone who was not even their patient !!!! They packed my dry socket and I was finally given relief and sent on my way. Needless to say I am looking into switching to them as my regular dentist and am beyond grateful!!!! highly recommended!! Thank you River Town Dental!

Very professional without being stuffy. They play 80’s music in there which I thought was pretty cool. Also, I wasn’t even an actual patient there but they worked me in anyway and with zero attitude or negativity toward me. I got no impression that I was imposing on them, which I fully expected. Receptionist, hygienist, and actual dentist were all very good. My former dentist retired and with a painful broken tooth I needed someone right away, not next month. Anyway, there’s seven people on my plan who have found a new dental office. Big score for them and rightfully so, lol.

I come froma time when we heard terms like painless dentistry, and it never was painless. One day ago I was plagued by a tooth that desperately needed to be removed. I called River Town Dental in La Crosse, they said they could fit me in at two fifteen that afternoon. I think I may have broken a speed limit or two, in my rush to remove the source of my pain! They were able to get me in right away, Dr. Saphner examined the offending molar, and advised me that the tooth was cracked thus had to be removed. I agreed and one hour later it was done, and I have to say that the doctor did an excellent job, in fact he went beyond and sutured the hole to ensure proper healing. From the moment that he numbed the area I was pain free, that night, no pain, the next day still no pain. I highly recommend this business and in particular Dr. Saphner. It truly was a painless experience!
