Radiant Smile Dentistry

I'm originally from Rockford so I haven't even been to a new dentist in years. Last year however my upper wisdom tooth started falling apart from the inside and had to get it removed. Mom knew a dentist in Rockford so I drove out there and paid in cash to have it removed. Ran my about 400. He was a great dentist, everything went smooth.

Well now my other upper one got removed today at Radiant Smile. Finding that new dentist is....much more stressful than a simple doctor. This guy is going to be working in your mouth with is absolutely terrifying for a lot of people including me. I'm full of tattoos and piercings and oral work still freaks me out!

From the moment you walk in, it's an experience I've never had at a dentist. You aren't greeted with uncomfortable chairs that looks like they paid minimum for. Oh no, this place went all out and got full on home theater leather chairs that you sink into. I didn't even care they were running a bit behind schedule because I was falling asleep in those awesome chairs haha!

The staff is something special too. They're from Europe and have AWESOME accents, and are sooo interesting to talk to. They'll go through any hoop and length there is to make you feel comfortable.

As for the removal. Wow is all I can say. He's quick and efficient! They're SUPER careful with cleanliness and even make you wear safety glasses. I started to feel a little bit of tenderness during the removal and instead of just trying to work quicker or tell me it's almost over he stopped everything, gave me a couple more shots to the gums to numb it more, let me sit for a few seconds and asked how it felt. Didn't feel ANYTHING after that. I got really nauseous during the removal from hearing the scraping and pulling and he had a neat little trick with sipping water and within a minute my nerves and everything went back to normal.

I was a new patient so I paid 105 for the visit + xrays and the removal was 390 (no dental insurance). Little more than I paid in Rockford but...with how they treated me there and how well it went, money well spent.

I hope this review helps any of you who are looking for a new dentist and feel positive about going there as a new patient. I for one found my new dentist :)

NOTHING BUT BAD EXPERIENCE!
I called for the first time to be a new client, they gave me my appointment, I went and filled out the application, they took X-rays to do the cleaning and they told me that they needed to call my insurance to see what it covered, they gave me another appointment but before that They called me that they could not contact my insurance company, I called my insurance company and if they answered me, I asked for information about what it covers and I called the clinic 2/16/21 and I told them, they told me that They would call me yesterday the 17th and they did not call me, today I called and they said that they still do not have my insurance information and I told them that I needed to know because they only tell me that they are going to call me and they never call me and I needed to know if they would attend me if not to find another clinic and they hung up on me you guys aren't professional at all if you don't want new clients just say DON'T WASTE PEOPLE'S TIME!!!!!

Fantastic place and people. Everyone there seems too care. They do their best to work with you. Not too many places do this.
I would recommend anyone looking for a great staff team and doctor.
