I have been going to Gentle Dental since moving here last year. I have always received excellent care and their staff are super friendly and helpful. I recently had a cleaning by their new hygienist Lori. Lori is the BEST hygienist I’ve ever had! She is so personable, caring and listened attentively to my concerns. She performed the cleaning without pain to my very sensitive teeth. Additionally she educated me and provided several tips to prevent decay and further possible future problems. I have no hesitation in recommending Gentle Dentist to anyone in search of a dentist. Rhoda Reilly Paulden AZ

Welcoming, helpful staff; exceptional dental care. Very glad they were recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. I had a thorough introductory dental exam and made appointments the following week for fillings and a crown. Each step for the fillings was explained and the staff checked on my well-being throughout the procedure. The Gentle Dental employees made my first visit as comfortable as possible and I'm happy to be a returning client.

I was forced to change dentist's office because I changed my insurance coverage. I was very skeptical about going to a new doctor just because my insurance company said I had to use that dentist. However, I was pleasantly surprised with Dr. Borek at An Elegant Smile. He is young and cheerful; took time to examine my teeth and explain everything to me. I was able to get an appointment right away and that was good for me because I need cleanings at least twice a year. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. I was able to get interest free payments for a crown. The work was done timely and the quality was as good as any other office I had used in the past, including before moving to Arizona 20 years ago. I am very happy with An Elegant Smile and would recommend them to anyone looking for a "good" dentist.

Had a great service, the staff was courteous I had to wait a little bit because there was a staffing issue but that could be overlooked based on the great quality service that I received at a great price.

This is the best dentist office in Prescott! They are so competent and friendly that it makes going to the dentist a pleasure. I also was pleasantly surprised that with the Gentle Dental Smile Plan, their in-house insurance, it cost less than I anticipated. Lori is great as a hygenist.

I've been going to this office since it was Elegant Smile. Since the change to Gentle Dental, it's gone from bad to worse. Not one of the original friendly and wonderful staff is still there. Every time I go in there's a different staff. This being said, they progressively started overcharging for procedures and periodontal visits through the last year. I think $600 for a periodontal cleaning is way overcharging. Before this I was charged $300 which is high enough. And this is with an annual purchase of their "dental plan". I've been going in every 4 months and religiously using my sonic tooth brush and water pick. I talked to someone 2 times about this and they weren't willing to work with me. I found another office that is very fair on their prices and have a very friendly staff.

The stars are for Debbie Bolender who was absolutely amazing and personable. If not for her, I would give this location no stars. The front desk staff is amazing as well. I have been here several times and both dentists I have had didn’t want to fix the major cosmetic issues including cracked and/or missing front teeth. These are issues I’ve helped create by poor care over the years and having “soft teeth” as a dentist I previously had informed me, but I am willing to pay out of pocket to have them repaired so that I can at least feel comfortable in public. From there, I can continue to work on the other issues I have. I was literally told they would not fix the front teeth because what I was asking for “was not a permanent fix” and they need to fix my whole mouth then provided me with a $12,000.00 quote. Yet I’ve had other front teeth rebuilt just over three years ago at a state based dentist, when i was earning a third of what I am now, and they are the strongest and best teeth that I have. When I was going to commit to the plan, I then asked if we could at least start with the front teeth so that I wouldn’t have to walk around with a broken smile and was again told no. I was told I needed to have other (expensive) work done before the front tooth could be fixed, yet all that work was unrelated to my cracked front tooth, I figure their used to people getting the major issue out of the way and not coming back but I think this is still wrong. This location is definitely out to make as much money as possible which is totally ok, We all have financial goals, but for the dentist to try and pressure me to spend that much, and have other work done first because I need work now, is wrong in my opinion.
