Prescott Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

Appointment booked 6 months in advanced, 4 days before the appointment was cancelled by office staff without reason. I was offered a new appointment date 2 weeks later. Sadly I was not thrilled with this and just started going to Aspen Dental instead.

Aside from my little mishap I will still give this place a recommendation as said below in my past review. Happy dental hunting.

My exam started out a little bumpy as the dentist assistant appeared to be having a bad day was the result was having my X-Rays redone over multiple times. The X-rays were very good and useful in the end though.

On the second part of the visit I started a deep cleaning as I had plaque buildup under my gums. The cleaning went well and the hygienist took her time even though she was working about an hour an a half overtime to do the cleaning for me, which I much appreciated. I left the office happy with the results of the cleaning.

I really wish I would have read more before going here to get my wisdom teeth removed. Worst dentist I've ever been to, and I've been to A LOT of dentists. Front desk lady was nice. But dentists REFUSED to tell me what kind of drugs they were going to give me even after I inquired several times. Woke up with scabs around my mouth. If I could demand my money back to get all four of my wisdom teeth put back in my face I absolutely would. Going out like king tut is not worth this trash. strongly recommend no one ever waists there money here.

Have been a patient for four years and saw Dr. Cutler, she was great but retired, and now patient of Dr Brown. The staff have always been friendly and willing to answer all my questions and explain all the options. Hard to believe the complaints with the staff since have not witnessed one iota of any of the complaints. Maybe false complaints facilitated by a competitor. I have had old crowns replaced with new ones made right in the office the same day that are very well made and great fitting.

Sitting in the chair today....11/13/18. So far the visit has been fascinating! The new imaging equipment is beyond anything I have ever been treated with and I have over 15 years of a long and painful dental history. It was great to see what my mouth actually looks like. Very motivating to stay on top of the oral hygiene! Dr. Brown is excellent. Positive, good energy and willing to engage in conversation regarding questions/concerns. Treatment planning was straight forward and right on point for what I was expecting. For those of you who are complaining about price...go ahead and skimp on anything healthcare related and see where that gets you. Get legit insurance and apply for care credit if you need to. For the quality of care they are offering here...the price points are very reasonable and competitive. The front desk staff will go over everything and help you out. Very knowledgeable. Overall, I’ll be referring others for sure. Nice job everyone!!!!

I was very GRATEFUL the receptionist HONORED the initial exam and X-rays according to what I had been told!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The management with their pricing is very deceptive. The office is corporate owned. I have been in the dental business since I was 19 and have never had such a terrible experience in any dental office in my entire life. My advice is to run, don’t walk away from there and stay away! Find a dental office that is not corporate owned and actually care about your business and do a good job. A private practice. The only reason I did go there was because I was new to Prescott and did not know any better. Big mistake!

This is my first and most likely only review of a business. But it’s worth my 10 minutes, if it can help another person to avoid what I have experienced over the last year of trying to work with these folks. I have given this place a try several times and each time I have encountered a significant issue with their staff. Things ranging from charting issues, to communication errors around scheduled appointment times, misreporting around treatment plans and expectations, defensiveness and what feels like forced services.

I have not had this experience as a patient at Prescott Dentistry. The fact that the treatment I have received both as a patient and in the chair are so glaringly different is the main reason for this review. Due to the disparity in service I have concluded that I would rather pay out of pocket and at full price rates, so I can avoid the mistreatment I have received at this office time and time again.

The one positive thing I will say is Brandi at the front desk is their one saving grace offered. She is professional, knowledgeable and attempts to make up for the lack of professionalism displayed by the other people that work at this office.

Corporate dentistry may work for some, but it did not work for me. If you have a choice go elsewhere with your time, insurance and business.

I am beyond dissapointed with this dental office. My son has been going here for over 2 years now for braces. He was supposed to be done with his braces in August but they kept canceling and Covid did not help. Anyway we paid 4400.00 out of pocket and now we have to start all over again. My son supposedly needs 3 more months and the demounting process and this dental office only wants to refund us 130.00... That in unacceptable. We are out hundreds of dollars from them and now have to pay about another 1000.00 worth of ortho elsewhere!!! This is a major hardship on us. Shame on you Prescott Modern dentistry.

I've never been given such a great service and care in a dentist office as the one provided to me by Dr. Brown and his staff. I had a crown and two cleaning done on me, couldn't be more satisfied, the crown was causing me some sensitivities, went back and Dr. Brown took care of it with some adjustments. Everyone: from the front desk, dental hygienist to the dentist are great, they care about the patient and you don't feel like a number, but a human being.

Best dentist ever. They are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and friendly. Darby has been extremely helpful in making me feel comfortable with wearing dentures and ensuring that the fit is just right.
