I've lived all over the US, and have never encountered a dentist -- or dental practice -- nearly as good as this one. Dr. Lopez is highly skilled and willing to take time to communicate clearly all the options and everything involved in each. He is really impressive.

Also impressive is the staff. Kristen, who handles the front desk, is efficient and always friendly and delightful, qualities essential in a dental office. Dr. Lopez's assistant Bethany is also a star, very professional, helpful and (like her boss) a great communicator. Great bunch of people.

Even the magazines and background music are great. What more could anyone want from a dentist?

Dr. Jay Lopez and staff are amazing! Fearful of seeing Dentist, I was referred to Dr. Jay Lopez by my sons' Dentist and it was an awesome referral. Front Office, Jordan was great. She was kind and answered the phone with a smile each time I called. Nikki, Dental Hygienist, was phenomenal. She explained every aspect of what she was doing and took time to ensure accurate X-rays where taken well. She was perfection! Finally, Dr. Lopez was just down right amazing..the best I've seen in the Dental medicine field. He was professional, thorough and highly knowledgeable in his area of expertise. He was clear in his diagnosis and truly took his time assessing my dental needs. It is very obvious to me that he truly cares about his patients. What was impressive was Dr. Lopez "holistic approach" to providing dental care. It isn't just about teeth but what may be happening to the body that may have caused my dental issue. With numerous horrible past experience, I am truly happy and confident that I made the right choice in picking Dr. Jay Lopez, DDS, as my dentist. Dr. Lopez: I truly appreciate your compassion and commitment to providing exceptional "holistic" dental care for Southern Arizona. I have been going to Dr. Lopez for about ten years now. And he is absolutely the best dentist ever. I love Dr. Lopez and his staff. Every single person in his office has always been respectful, kind, and helpful. At my most recent appointment for a cleaning, in June 2019, Nikki was my dental hygienist. She has a very gentle touch. I never felt any discomfort when she was cleaning my teeth which were stained because of the invisible braced I am using. Dr. Lopez and his staff are incredibly thorough in their examinations and their technology is state-of-the art. I highly recommend them. He explains things in terms I can understand and is incredibly knowledgeable about dental health. I highly recommend him.

I was a patient of Dr. Lopez's before 2007. When I moved back to Tucson, there was no doubt which dentist I was going to. He is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The entire staff is. The dentist is not one of my favorite places, but I do feel like I'm in good hands with them.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, because Dr Lopez & his staff are amazing! I have a huge fear of the dentist and I specifically chose Dr Lopez because of all the positive feedback from people who have similar fears. I am so glad I did!! There is no corporate feel to this operation, rather, they go out of their way to make you feel at home & comfortable. The entire staff are friendly & extremely knowledgeable. The waiting area is comfortable & relaxing. The facility is impeccably clean. Dr Lopez himself is so kind and gentle and he takes his time answering your questions to explain everything clearly. He will not do unnecessary work and he actually looks at your medical history so that he is 100% familiar with your specific needs or issues. I will never use another dentist!

On a cross country trip from NJ to CA, I started having a rear molar bother me. I was in Tucson on a Thursday night and realized that with an upcoming weekend and stops in no major cities planned, I needed to see a dentist on Friday. I found Dr Lopez through these on line reviews, calling when the office opened and was "squeezed in" by 10:30am on Friday. The office is modern, gorgeous, and the staff most friendly, processing my insurance and giving my wife Tucson tourist tips while I was being seen by Dr. Lopez. He is knowledgeable, very competent, and a good communicator. He analyzed the problem using the latest techniques and explained his treatment plan in detail with the expected outcome. He focused on minimizing pain and was extremely thorough. By 1pm I was pain free and back to traveling. On Sunday (Father's Day), I received a cell phone call from Dr. Lopez checking on me. This guy is great! I would consider switching dentists to Dr Lopez but the 2,400 mile trip each way for appointments might be a little much.

I am new to the area and finding a new dentist is a bit challenging. Luckily, I was given Dr. Lopez’s name by a new friend. I was very impressed with Dr. Lopez and his staff. Dr. Lopez is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, but he explained the procedure and has a nice way about him as well. His staff, Tristan, Jordan and Erica couldn’t have been more welcoming and professional.

I am so pleased to have him as my new dentist in Tucson.

Dr. Lopez has been my Dentist for years. His knowledge and expertise along with his ability to go above and beyond in a complicated case is top notch. While there are many Dentists closer to my home, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my care. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful too!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lopez since I was a 2 year old girl (I’m now 16), I’ve never had to fear going to the dentist because Dr. Lopez and his welcoming staff has always made me feel at home. Dr. Lopez is so thorough and explains everything to you so, you understand exactly what is going on and what is coming up next in order to properly care for your teeth. He truly cares for his patients and has a ture passion for dentistry.

This is the most professional dental office I have ever seen. The front office people are fantastic and really make you feel welcome. The back of house people are great at making you feel comfortable and then there is the doctor. Dr Jay takes the time to make sure you know that you are his priority and doesn't get distracted by others.
