IF YOU VALUE YOUR SMILE, FIND ANOTHER DENTIST!!
Came in to fix my top front left tooth that broke. Dr. Sumner treated me. But instead of fixing that tooth, he decided on his own to shave my right tooth next to it making both teeth shorter then when I came in.
After 3 one hour long meetings with him and another doctor they forced me to sign a statement of release. Even though I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE RESULT.
3 month later the tooth they ruined and tried to fix, got chiped. Bad practice.
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!

Over the last six years I’ve had Oroville Gentle Dentistry do two deep cleanings, four cavity fillings, and two tooth extractions. All of them were great. The staff was great. The technicians were skilled and personable.The dentist’s were very good.. giving the numbing shots never hurt.. the fillings and extractions were virtually pain free and the healing from the extractions was rapid.. I like them so much, that even when I was living 80 miles away I kept using them.. I highly recommend these guys

I went in last week and saw Dr. Gary Sumner. He was the absolute nicest and most caring dentist that I've ever met!! He treated me with compassion and empathy. I have had major traumatizing events happen with dentists over many years and with his kind words and understanding, he made me feel the best I ever have going to see a dentist. He referred me to a Maxiofacial Surgeon, but unfortunately it is too costly for me to have it done by them. I will be calling back to see if he can still help me.(fingers crossed!!)
The assistant and front office staff were wonderful as well. I was treated with kindness and respect. Amazing ethics! I would highly recommend Oroville Gentle Dentistry. Thank you again!!

I have always wanted a nicer smile! Being a dentist myself, I have had the chance to help many patients get the smile they loved. I never took the chance to give myself a new smile! Obviously, we can't fix our own teeth!! I chose Dr. Parrott at Oroville Gentle Dentistry to give me my new smile. We dentists are very picky, and I wanted the best treatment possible. He and his team treated me very professionally and skillfully!! His team member, Ruby, who assisted him was "spot on" with every step of the procedure. Dr. Parrott's team members remind me of my previous wonderful staff who were so excellent. I love my smile! I love how I was treated! Yes, 5 stars!!!

Seriously the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Dr Sumner was very flexible with my treatment plan and asked for my input and dental goals. The “Gentle” in the name is true to a “t” as well! The gals involved in scheduling me were so helpful in getting me squeezed in before I had an insurance change last minute. But the best part was how Dr Sumner did some “instant ortho” and made a haggard, chipped, crooked front bottom tooth of mine evened out and smooth and looking like a million bucks! I loved everyone I came into contact with from the front desk to the dental assistant to the dentists themselves. Thank you all for your wonderful help! I had to work really hard to not cry happy tears stepping out of there I was so thankful.
