Crossroads Family Dentistry

I had left a five-star review for crossroads family dentistry 3 years ago and unfortunately today I now have to change that. As much as I love Dr Tyng who is a fantastic dentist his office manager is rude and arrogant! I specifically scheduled a cleaning 2 weeks before my wedding. When I arrived for my appointment with my two children in tow like I have for the last 8 years that I have been a patient at Crossroads; I was turned away and advised that they could not stay in the waiting room. I have always brought my kids to the appointments they have always sat in the waiting room in fact at the first location they even had a playroom for the children. I guess that's no more this dentist office shouldn't be called family dentistry because there was no understanding that it is summer break and I have two children. To which the office manager had several smart Alec remarks instead of any understanding or compassion. I am horribly disappointed!

I was looking for a new dentist and this office was in a convenient location for me, so I gave it a try. I regret it. The employees I interacted with were very short tempered and seemed annoyed that they had to do their jobs (the horror). It was a struggle to get any questions answered. I didn't wait too long to get called back, but then I ended up sitting in the dentist's chair for 30+ minutes waiting for someone to see me. Zero status updates along the way. I didn't come here to be treated like an enemy, so I won't be going back.

I have been coming here for awhile now. I really like Dr.Ting and his staff. Everyone is so nice. I have always been showed my ex rays and Dr Ting explained them to me. Ashley is the one that cleans my teeth she is awesome. My whole family comes here, kids and grand kids they all like it.

I was very impressed with my first visit at Crossroads Family Dentistry. Dr. Tyng was very thorough with his exam and Olivia was my hygienist who was very gentle. The whole staff was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Crossroads Family Dentistry!

I have been to Crossroads Dentistry on 3 occasions, and the staff have been extremely friendly each time. During my last visit, there was a mixup on the time and I arrived 2 hours after my scheduled appointment. Brianna and Dr Ting were still able to accommodate me and fit me into their schedule.

I have been going to Dr. Tyng’s office for several years. Today, I had Kelly as my dental hygienist and she was so lovely! Dr. Arango was also very pleasant. Highly recommend!

I have had two appointments at Crossroads so far. The first was a regular exam and cleaning. The second was an appointment to fill two cavities. Both appointments went smoothly, and Dr. Tyng and the dental hygienists I interacted with were friendly and professional. It was a comfortable dental experience.

The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars was regarding billing. After the cavity filling appointment, I paid the estimated amount I would owe. I received my Explanation of Benefits from my insurance provider (unusually quickly - a couple days after the appointment) and it showed that I should have paid slightly less. I called Crossroads, and they explained that once they received the billing info from the insurance, if the amount I had paid was too much they would contact me to ask if I wanted to keep the extra as credit on my account or get it refunded in some manner.

I waited a bit over a month, but was never contacted. This is the reason I knocked off one star. However, I did just call in this morning and they were very helpful and it was quick and easy - they pulled up the info, verified the amount I overpaid, and asked me what I wanted to do with it (in this case they will refund it to the credit card I paid with).

Other than that slight billing discrepancy (not reaching out when they had claimed they would), I am happy with Crossroads Family Dentistry and will continue to go to them for my future appointments.

I always look forward to Dentist appointments now! The staff is so friendly and professional, not only with myself but also my kids. I have plenty of options, and after they moved there are several options much closer to home, but I happily drive further for the quality of care I receive at Crossroads!

Best dentist ever! My son has a fear of needle to the point that he passes out and turns in to a total different person. Dr. Arango was extremely patient with him even decided the first time to not work on him because he had gotten so worked up. The second time when he started to get worked up, Dr. Arango gave us an others option to take care of his three cavities without needle. Very happy momma and boy!
