STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Staff is rude, unprofessional, and does not wear proper face coverings during a pandemic. I showed up for a cleaning at my designated time and got the paperwork to fill out, which I was asked to fill out in my car. The bottle of hand sanitizer in the lobby was empty. There was a sign posted on the front door that face coverings were required in the building. They called me on my cell phone when it was time for me to go back in for my appointment. I went back inside and no one was there to tell me where to go. When someone finally noticed me standing in the lobby, they said that I could come back.

The attendant who told me to come back had no mask or face covering on whatsoever. She asked me to sit in a chair for x-rays and asked what the reason was for my appointment. I said for a cleaning. She said that I was booked as an emergency appointment, and I said that was incorrect and should have been scheduled for a cleaning. I then asked her if staff were supposed to be wearing face coverings in the office and she said "it's just us employees back here," as if that makes any difference whatsoever to rona. She then asked "are you OK with that?" and I said "it makes me a bit uncomfortable, to be honest." She just walked away without saying anything whatsoever in response. Extremely unprofessional.

A few moments later another staff member came in and, although she had a mask on, it was ~below her nose~. I said "the mask is supposed to go over your nose," and she did not respond or acknowledge that statement at all. About a minute later, after talking with me again about how the appointment had been mis-booked, she finally pulled the mask up over her nose. She then said that I couldn't get in for a cleaning today, and would have to reschedule. So, after all that, I couldn't even get my cleaning done.

I cannot believe that I had to tell MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS in a dentist's office that they should wear a face covering, and even correct one on how it should be worn. Not to mention the rude and lackadaisical attitudes. Simply jaw dropping. Stay far away from this hell hole of a dental practice.

I normally go to the Buckhead office but it has been closed for some time I guess with COVID. I had purchased the Smile Plus Gold package back in June 2020 from the Buckhead office which clearly states for the $499 purchase price that 3 cleanings are included, among other things. I made an appointment with the North Druid Hills office and had to fill all the same patient information out once again. After that they presented me an estimated bill of $330+ for a regular cleaning and x rays. My paid up package was also to include X rays. The employee or manager continued to deny that I was entitled to the cleaning with my package, or the x rays. I needless to say walked out. They are a bunch of lying crooks. I am going to submit a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The package that I signed up for is supposed to be good at all branches in Georgia, Florida, Texas and Nevada. No wonder the place was empty. No way to due business. They deserve to be out of business!

My visit was great. I recently moved to Atlanta, and I was hesitant about finding a new dentist office... but Coast Dental made my experience great. Katina, my dental hygienist was awesome! She was very open and told me everything she was doing. She answered all of my questions and made me really comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend Coast Dental (Katina specifically) to anyone looking for a new office!

Sad to have to offer this review, but there it is. I have had good experiences with this group for a few years now, but I have had them cancel two appointments in a row. This might not normally be a big problem, but I take Paid Time Off of work for these appointments. This is two times in a row I wasted a vacation day. Furthermore, besides the initial appointment call, I have received no response to my calls expressing my disappointment. Finally, tried to call them on this Saturday, when Google claims they are open, and they are in fact closed.

I may -- well, WILL -- be looking for another provider.

Awesome friendly staff! From receptionist, administrator , the x-ray tech, and Dr. Thomas they were so patient and helpful I came in for pain and had a insurance hiccup having the wrong PCD assigned they were still assuring me I wasn’t going home without being seen and take care of. They fixed my problem called my insurance for me so I didn’t have to fight with them to approve the immediate care. A+++

I don’t write a lot of reviews. But I called to see if they are accepting new patients and got someone who barely spoke English, then she got my insurance info and told me that while they are accepting new patients, she couldn’t discuss pricing over the phone. I pushed back and asked her what she was talking about. I asked if I needed to make an appointment and show up to find out the price. She said no and said I just need to call the actual office. I told her that I thought I did and then she said they are there for “overflow” because call volumes are high. Sorry, not looking to book a Delta flight. Just a dental cleaning. Skip this place.

I'm not even going to bother to go in. I google'd them first to check the number of stars they've received and the number was low. I called anyway. The receptionist was off putting. She spoke very fast and implied that if the doctor wasn't too busy they'll schedule the cleaning after the new patient exam (of just x-rays) at that time. I asked her if she meant they will schedule the cleaning the same day if the doctor isn't too busy or schedule that day for a later date. Apparently my attempt to seek clarification for my own personal scheduling benefit didn't please her. She started speaking really slow as if I was "slow" with a lot of attitude and quite frankly came off very rude. She totally turned me off. I politely informed her I was no longer interested in their services. I went back online to look at their other locations and saw mention of the receptionist being rude. They may want to consider some changes.

Get a 2nd opinion!! their fees are exorbitant. I got a quote for almost 5k for dental work and the Dental Assistant was really.pressuring me to get this work done asap,there was easy financing, etc. Do.they get a commission I wondered? I told them I would think about it. The next week I went to another dentist and without telling them about the first quote, theirs was under $1k. I asked about the procedures Coast Dental recommended and she was truly shocked that they were suggesting this as a treatment plan. I got my <1k work done and am happy about the service and the 4k still in my pocket. Get a 2nd opinion!!
