The dentist could have explained his efforts/procedures more. The hygienist could have been kinder. I was given a high dose of numbing for my cleaning, in my top and bottom areas. The shots were painful in itself and did not numb my gums or teethe at all. I felt the stabbing and pain of the dental hygienist the entire 45 minutes of the cleaning. I left the office with a bloody mouth, throbbing and pain. No medication, no gauze, no real checkup or evaluation after. Just them telling me that I need another 1000$ cleaning after not giving me all of the measures for my first one, such as the fluoride wash. That being said, I will not be returning. There are gentler and more organized professionals out there.
Update: it took 4.5 hours for the numbing agent to wear off. My teethe are still in pain so much that it hurts to chew or eat. It is day two after the cleaning and my throat hurts from the pain of my left upper tooth from her stabbing and consistently prodding at it. Again, I would not recommend this place. The staff did not seem 100% knowledgeable of cleaning, just seemed to want more money.

I really enjoyed my service and experience with Midtown Dental. They were friendly, made sure I was comfortable, and didn’t take long at all to be seen. This will now be my regular dentist. Mandy and Dr. Wheat (hope I’m right) were an awesome pair to work with. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new “dentist home”.

This is office is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They took me in last minute for a very painful wisdom tooth. They made me feel super comfortable before the entire procedure! The dentist did an EXCELLENT JOB! I was super nervous prior to coming in, but the staff made you feel comfortable and they were very very polite! Super caring! Thank you guys so much for the work you did for me on such a short notice! I am extremely happy!

The receptionist was friendly, Dr. Murphy was kind and professional, the hygienist was thorough and she did excellent work. I have never gotten such a thorough dental visit and given so much information! I am very impressed with this dental office...the hygienist, dentist and office staff! My hygienist, Megan, has the best personality, very friendly as if you’ve always known her, she told me every step she was taking during my exam and cleaning, and taught me so much about my own teeth! HIGHLY recommend this dental office!

Good morning, the reason why I decided to choose Midtown Dental Care is my Insurance change thur Medicare. The other Dentist didn't take my Insurance. At my first appointment the staff was so nice an friendly, when I had my first cleaning my Dental Hygienist was so friendly and did a good job on my mouth. I will share this with my Family and Friends.
