I came to The Durham office to get options on how I could fix my smile. My first consult was amazing I got all my options and was treated with respect, and never judged. The team here made me feel welcomed. They have educated me on my dental health and how to improve all my concerns. Jenni has been very helpful for me throughout this entire process in being my advocate for what I have been wanting for a long time. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a trusted dental office.

Dr Strickland & staff are so friendly & professional. They put me at such ease & made me so comfortable in my decision. It was a great experience & if i had to, i would do it all over again. This is Renee posting, not Jason :). I felt it would be valuable to give people the opportunity to read my review of this office as a team member at Beyond Exceptional Dentistry. I am the patient coordinator for Dr Durham. I have been in the field 16 years, at this office for over a year. I am a military wife who has travelled the world following my husbands career. I have been blessed to be able to work with many wonderful doctors and this office is truly beyond exceptional. I am so impressed at the structure, the attention to detail, and the practice as a whole that Dr Durham has built. It is truly meant to be beyond exceptional for his patients. All the doctors are the best at what they do, without a doubt. Dr Durham and his crew are the most ETHICAL men I have worked with. Their work is beyond compare and their team is Loving and attentive to each other and their patients. This is the place to be if you want to be treated with respect, more than just a number and a long term whole health plan that is truly your benefit and not the offices.

I paid 50 grand and am still missing teeth, have had a recurring infection that I keep having to go to teledoc for antibiotics for, my bite is so messed up, my veneers are chipped, and no one will call me back. These people will steal you’re money! I’ve heard back from this office once since they got my money and it was to ask for a gift card from my small business. I’m so upset and I would never recommend anyone go here.

I have been a patient for about 6 years now, having first sought help for TMJ and severe vertigo. The course of treatment has been very successful in clearing up these issues, and I have remained a general-care patient. I am happy to drive 60 miles for my appointments because everyone-- from patient relations to the dentists-- are professional and welcoming. They see me as a full partner in my own care and work with me to make decisions that I feel are best for me, in my own time.

When I first came in, I was so nervous and embarrassed. From the moment I called and spoke with the ladies at Beyond Exceptional Dentistry my walls came down. I called 4 different places and Beyond Exceptional was the only one that made me feel like they cared. From the moment I walked in it felt like all they wanted was to make me as happy as possible. I am 24 hours post op right now, and I feel amazing! It was so shocking to wake up and feel totally normal after surgery. They truly are beyond exceptional at Beyond Exceptional Dentistry.

My mom called for my initial consultation at The Durham office to be able to feel more confident about my smile. Walking in I was impressed by the decor and layout of the reception area as it is very modern and upscale which made me feel invited. I am always greeted by a pretty and polite lady that makes me feel at ease at my appointments and comfortable. Throughout the appointments everything is always explained and presented very well. These guys are exceeding my expectations! I've spent a lot of time in my life going to dentist appointments and going through multiple procedures of bridges & crowns. When I began seeing Durham & his staff they truly strategize and perform a thorough assessment to develop the best plan. They are addressing the actual source of my problems and fixing my bite before we fix my teeth so I can live pain free---eventually no jaw clenching, grinding, or popping!! Dr. Durham and his staff are very personable and have put me at ease in every step. They are making my journey a pleasant surprise, and I'm excited about it!!

I loved the dentist as a teenager--truly loved it--but developed a lot of health anxiety in my early 20s that let to over five years of general neglect and no professional dental care through cleanings and fillings. If you're experiencing severe dental anxiety like I once did, or if you're the calmest person just looking for the best dentist in the region, Beyond Exceptional Dentistry is the office for you.

You are provided with a brief introduction video when you first inquire about having any sort of work done, either a DVD or a YouTube link that guides you through their lovely amenities like wine, beer, and fresh-baked cookies, the cozy, well-lit offices and environments you'll be happy to be in, and the heartwarming doctors and assistants, all of which will greet you with big smiles and genuine concerns for your happiness and well-being long before, during, and long after your visits. You are not treated like a bad person if you have not been to the dentist in a long time or admit to neglecting your dental care--you are treated like family.

I had multiple cavities and a crown completed by Dr. Strickland and his team--one sitting for the temporary fillings (as these were porcelain--and they match my teeth flawlessly), and one for the permanents. By using their prescribed pre-care steps and sedation dentistry the night before and the morning of the procedures, I was perfectly relaxed throughout both procedures and can hardly remember either of them. After the procedures were completed, I was still experiencing some pain and soreness, but not at the fault of the office--through multiple visits slipped in on very short notices, we did small, harmless grinding to fix bite adjustments and eventually diagnosed a tooth that needed a root canal. Dr. Strickland is very discerning about the offices he refers work to and asks you to let him and his office know if you do not experience the same level of comfort and respect that you received at his office.

Dr. Reeves and his team worked with me to design a perfect-fitting sleep appliance, urging me to come in immediately after the mildest fit issue occurred. Dr. Reeves will not rest knowing that you are not having a flawless experience. This sleep appliance now stays snug throughout the night and has alleviated my grinding and clenching issues, also helping with my moderate sleep apnea and giving me a much better night's sleep than I'd had in years.

Even your regular check-ups with your dental hygienist will be a joy. I originally used laughing gas during my cleanings with Erika, but her calm and kind demeanor helped me regain the peace of mind that I had as a teenager, and I no longer use laughing gas--though it is always available if you change your mind or experience any changes.

I was more than satisfied with the care I received here. My visits have been quick and a real pleasure. I can not Imagine how the experience could be better. I love the Durham Office and the team that have helped me get my confidence back!!

Update: After several months of follow up care the service has still been great! They really go out of their way to make me feel taken care of!
