I'm very disappointed with the communication between office staff and myself. I was never told I was out of network for my insurance, until I got the second bill.... I was referred to by my dentist who was on vacation and was charged an exorbitant amount just to have a crown glue back on.

I’m 40, now, and didn’t go to the dentist for decades due to dental PTSD/anxiety, Trigmenial Neuralgia, multiple facial implants from reconstruction, and every other dentist gaslighting and dismissing those very real things into literal self neglect while only looking at insurance and money. I’m a heavy coffee drinker and tobacco user. Dr. Bauter is a Godsend for people(me) who NEED an amazing, Hollywood worthy dentist, but also have very real trauma from past experiences. He has never made me feel bad for the fact that sometimes oral care isn’t an option due to pain issues. He’s always treated me human. He truly cares for the whole patient as much as the mouth and teeth. My first appointment he didn’t even touch my mouth; we just talked. I’ve been going a couple years, now. I’ve missed a few appointments due to anxiety, but they were always understanding. Today, I fell asleep while he was doing teeth work. I didn’t even think finding a dentist would be possible.
