Five Stars for examines, restorative work and braces! Thank you, Dr. Harker, for providing my family and I with positive dental experiences! Years ago, I was experiencing some tooth pain. After examining my tooth, records and x-rays, you recommended a filling. Another dentist had recommended a root canal on the same tooth. I didn't want to have a root canal and I trust your opinion, so we gave it a try. It has been at least four years now since you filled that tooth and I haven't had any trouble since. That was one of my first experiences with you. I appreciate that you're thorough, that you explain things in a way that I can understand them and you always provide options without pressuring me. Recently our two daughters began ortho treatment with you. My husband, our two older children and I all had the traditional ortho treatment when we were teenagers. When you explained the process of using palate expanders first and not having to extract permanent teeth, we were excited. Both of our daughters have had great success with their upper and lower palate expanders. Already they have more room in their mouths and they have broader smiles. I just scheduled their appointments to have their braces put on at the end of this month. I just want to say, "Thank you!" Thank you for being honest and always helping us to feel comfortable at the dentist! Our commute to your office is a little longer now, but it's well worth it. We're always in good hands!

I had a crown and a couple fillings done by Dr. Harker. He and his assistant made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was not only impressed by his excellent dental work, but also by his great chairside manors. He was easy to talk to and took the time to answer my questions and explain the procedures. I have been a patient of Dr. Crump's for years now. Dr. Crump, Enisa, Mel, Crystal, etc. - they are all like family! I have spent MANY hours in those chairs and always come out of my appointments feeling like I have just been at a family reunion. They make each visit fun and for that I am very grateful. I’ve always treated dentist visits like arrest warrants. You can bring me in but not without a fight and I sure as hell won’t be conscious when we get there. Not anymore. Not with Crump on the mound. This guy throws straight gas. Just like little league baseball, there are a lot of “dentists” out there holding trophies when they should have been cut. Not Crump. This guy was fixing smiles in the womb and he’s mastered the craft. Thanks doc

From my experience, Boise Family Dental Care sets the new standard for abysmal service and disrespect for patients.

I had an appointment with Boise Family Dental Care for 02/23/2016 at 8:00am. At the time the appointment was made, Boise Family Dental Care told me to arrive 10 – 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. I confirmed I would arrive by 7:45 am as instructed.

On 02/23/2016 I arrived at 7:40am. The office was open and well-lit, but completely unattended.

I waited. And waited. And waited. The office remained unattended. I called out in a loud voice to see if someone was in the back of the office. No response.

At 7:48am I called the office to see if something was wrong. The phone in front of me rang several times and went unanswered.

At 7:49am I called again to see if the call would route to an answering service for Boise Family Dental Care.

At 7:51am and 7:52am I call again. –Now I’m really worried something might really be wrong. Both calls go unanswered.

At 7:55am I call. No answer.

At 7:58am I call. No answer. I listen to the phone in front of me ring.

I’ve now been standing in the lobby for 20 minutes. The entire office is completely open and lit, and nobody is there. My confirmed scheduled arrival time has long come and gone. Multiple phone calls have gone unanswered. At this point, I am seriously concerned for the staff. Fearing the worst, I am now considering contacting the police.

At 8:00am I call again. The phone is picked up from another location. I tell the person on the other end I have been standing in their empty lobby for 20 minutes waiting for my appointment which has now come and gone. I am told they are having a staff meeting and would be out soon.

I’m furious.

If Boise Family Dental Care had even the slightest bit of concern or regard for their patients, they could have taken any one of a number of simple steps to prevent the problem. A sticky note on the door… a note on the desk… a quick phone call to let me know… have someone remain behind in the lobby… or here’s a novel idea –don’t schedule an all staff meeting at a time you’ve instructed a patient to be there. None of these things would have cost Boise Family Dental Care a thing, and it would have prevented me from standing in the lobby for 20 minutes wondering what on earth had happened.

The fact is, Boise Family Dental Care instructed me to be there at 7:45am and didn’t care enough to take 20 seconds to leave even a 3-4 word note to let me know they weren’t going to bother to show up.

I was up at 5am this morning. –An hour earlier than usual. In order to make my appointment on time, I needed to get my young daughter ready for school much earlier than usual. I had to make arrangements with her childcare provider to drop her off early. I then had to drive across town to drop her off, then drive back across town to make my appointment. After 3 hours of chasing my tail to get to my appointment on time, Boise Family Dental Care couldn’t be bothered to show up or let me know they weren’t going to be there.

The most frustrating part of this whole situation is while I was waiting, I was genuinely worried for the staff something was wrong. This, while Boise Family Dental Care was displaying ZERO concern for me.

I deserve more from a dental practice, and so do you.

Love this office. Highly Recommend it. All the people are so attractive and nice here. The service is amazing and they dont do unnecessary work. It took me a while to find a place I liked. Also my 12 year old daughter loves going here as well.
