I had a great experience here! Had to find a new dentist after relocating and was beyond happy with the quality of care, and clean environment. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone! Very kind staff all around!! My hygienist took extra care on my teeth, making sure to get everything clean and evaluated. This office is extremely tech savvy as well, blood pressure machine, 3-D view of your teeth and bite, and the head dentist even checked my mouth for mouth and tongue cancer as a precaution. Plus more I'm forgetting, I'm sure. If you're new, give them a try! You won't regret it!

We became new patients about a year ago and I immediately enjoyed the great customer service. However, this business is riddled with hidden fees they do not disclose to patients until you are billed. “Deep cleaning” suggested by your hygienist during your routine biannual cleaning? Get ready for additional charges not covered by insurance. They suggested my husband go every four months and set his appointments that way. He didn’t realize he was paying completely out of pocket for cleanings until he double checked the dates and realized he wasn’t in that six months threshold covered by insurance. Great people in the building but dishonest business strategy.

While flying from Boise to London earlier this month I lost my crown on a molar somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean. When I got back to Boise a couple weeks later they got me in quickly to re-cement it in place...actually offered a visit the same day I called but I was ill and had to wait a couple days...but they met my schedule and took great care of the problem. Was an entirely pleasant experience and my needs could not have been better met. Highly recommend High Desert Dental and Dr. Pottinger.

Had an absolute pleasure being seen at High Desert Dental. Had a crown come off just before the start of vacation. Per the recommendation of a family friend I was directed to their dentist. The visit was quick and efficient. And I am now back to being able to eat anything I want without being concerned about food and drink touching my exposed tooth. I took my 94 year old Mom in. She just got a Medicare plan that covered dental as she hadn't had her teeth cleaned in over three years. They spent two hours on her, and she said they cleaned her teeth better than anyone ever had. The hygienist was wonderful and so was everyone else in the office. Will take her there again. Highly recommend!
